i started my 6 wednesday for a ride and noticed my trip-b odometer was at zero
i could not change between trip-b and trip-a
and also i could not display the air temp with the info button
since this had happened last fall (as riding season was slowly coming to an end)
i was pretty sure it would clear itself out
as i drove off i could hear the beep intermittently, after 1 or 2 tenths of a mile the beeping stopped
and the trip odometer started recording mileage properly
just wondering if anyone else has seen this anomaly

As always, check the battery terminal. Make sure it is tight.

No. Better take advantage of your warranty and have it looked at.

Myself? nope.
1st, I'd check batt cables. If tight/no problems, then 2. Take it to Dealer/warranty.
99% chance Dealer won't find anything wrong, but you should at least end up with a 'can not duplicate' ticket that might come in handy if it croaks later.

that's a good idea scott,
i'll monitor the situation a while longer
wondering if my second battery tender may be to blame
(as i recall when this happened last fall, i used that tender then also)
i'm not overly worried aboot it, still have 2 1/2 years left on the warranty ;groucho;

Not trying to be alarmist, just practical. It shouldn't be too concerning given what you've shared with us here. BUT, I'd get it checked out sooner than later because if it is symptomatic of a larger issue, the larger issue might just appear when you are least prepared.
Or...maybe I'm just an oversensitive beemer owner that's had one too many circuit board gremlins to contend with.
Just a thought.
