Love North Carolina but I hate this time of year with the pollen!!!! This is the first bike I've ever had with speakers and was curious how you get the pollen out of them? I was not sure if an air compressor would damage them or not. I try to keep the bike covered as much as possible but the pollen finds a way to get everywhere!

I use compressed air all the time to clean out the speakers. It's unlikely to cause any damage unless you go crazy with it. If you want to be extra cautious, you could lower the air pressure to 50-60 psi.

Berryman's B-12 carb cleaner,,,,,,,,,,

NOT!!!! :spank:

=)

Wipe the grill and then ease into 'em with compressed air,,, They tend to dirty up / blow off by themselves sometimes.

(Berrymans B-12,,, Jeez, what an A-hole!!!)

You can use one of the office keyboard compressed air cans, just don't have the long thin nozzle attached.

I have been using an air compressor for over ten years to clean speakers on three different GL1800'S with no problems. :020:

I have been using an air compressor for over ten years to clean speakers on three different GL1800'S with no problems. :020: you can crank the audio up and no pollen will remain. :yikes:
