For those who have said that you are attending or have booked a room, I sent you a PM.

There is a block of rooms for the Ponderosa Motel in Enterprise, OR., for the nights of July 18th and July 19th...that is the Friday and Saturday nights.

Here is the details:

There are a total of 15 rooms on the ground floor. I have blocked out ALL of them. Given that WE like to be close to our bikes, I chose the ground floor, versus the 2nd floor rooms.

On the ground floor, there are...7 rooms that have two (2) Queen Beds in them.

Of those 7 rooms.....1 room is a "smoking" room....and 1 room is a "handicap" room.

Also, on the ground floor, there are...8 rooms that have one (1) Queen Bed in them.

Of those 8 rooms....2 of them are "smoking" rooms...and 1 of them is a "handicap" room.

For those of you that have already reserved a room, please check your PM.

That is the total of 15 rooms on the ground floor. If we need MORE rooms, we can block some out on the 2nd floor.

Now that the rooms have been officially blocked out for us, we have a CODE word that the riders need to use when they call this motel, to be able to reserve one of these rooms in their name.

The Code Word is..........F6B Gathering.

All a rider needs to do is call the motel...(541) 426-3186 and then tell the desk clerk that they want one of the rooms blocked out for the F6B gathering.....choose a room...and actually reserve it in your name.

For a single Queen bed room, for 1 person, it is "tentatively" $ 76.00 (subject to change)

For a room with two Queen beds, for 2 people, it is "tentatively" $ 87.00 (subject to change)

You couldn't have blocked out ALL the rooms on the first floor because I reserved mine several months ago!

Anticipation.

I turn 33 tomorrow so that probably puts me in the Biker Bar category.......but I'm fat and love ice cream so that would put me in the Dairy Queen category..... dammit, now I have an identity crisis!:banghead:

For the ride Saturday, The Hell's Canyon Loop, it will need to be changed. The road NF39 is closed for the 13 miles of construction from the intersection of Hwy 82 and NF39. The detour for this part is NF66 which is a 30 miles of one lane gravel road with turnouts. (NOT!) So, if you/we are still wanting to go to Hells Canyon, we will need to take I84 down to Baker City, OR and take Hwy 86 out to the canyon and come back the same way.

Dale is also scouting other roads. We can discuss the options at Friday night's dinner.

Fourth gear is howling like one of the furies from hell and the F6 is now a resident of the dealer's shop.

Pissed, distressed, etc.

Should make it next year with a hew tranny.

I would also like to thank Dale (Hondabikepro) for his help in putting this event together as well as his donated door prizes. I really appreciate your help.

Neil (Hambly434) your donated prizes were awesome. You always do great work. Thank you bud!

Phantom, thank you for your donated prizes as well as your support. I owe you!

The Ponderosa Hotel is definitely biker friendly. Their hospitality was great including giving each rider at check-in a bag of soft rags for cleaning our bikes.

Steve Lear, owner of Lear's Pub & Grill had our tables all set up and waiting on us both nights. The food was awesome.

Yes, the red sleds outnumbered the black. However, Barry770 and I can finally say that the black bikes are faster. You can put that to rest. Finally, A decent internet connection. Thanks to Kevin for organizing this great event. Also, thanks to Dale & Tony for their support with door prizes and tee shirts.
I'd also like to thank Neil(Hambly434) for the "F6B" brake & clutch master cylinder covers( long distance award). They are truly, "works of art" and will look great on my "fast black" F6B.

The trip home seems much longer then the ride to Oregon. Two more long days before I reach Atlanta.

Haha, you should remember my name as it's the same as yours Kevin.

I also want to thank everyone that donated prizes and organizing the whole trip. It was great meeting everyone, seeing their bikes, talking motorcycles, hearing all the stories and making new friends. What a great bunch of people! I learned a lot from Dale's expertise and KJ's stories are unforgettable and hilarious.

Sorry for delayed response as I headed out after the first night in Enterprise for my vacation up through Idaho into Canada which turned out to be a fantastic trip.
