N. Illinois / S. Wisconsin, need route & destination recommendations!

Who knows some absolutely beautiful areas or twisty & hilly routes in northern IL / southern WI that all riders must experience? I want to plan my summer road trips but I need more ideas. Please share your suggestions. Thanks!

It here's not much in north eastern il, south eastern wi. The circle lake tour is OK, but I wouldn't put it on any list except for the part that goes through michigan.

The western part of the state has some nice areas, but nothing to compare to the Rockies or Appalachians or Ozarks. The Galena area is nice except for all the Harleys.

Stay off the freeways!

Use a map program to find the secondaries that go thru all the small towns.
