Just a very simple solution, just notify the next buyer when you sell the bike so that he is NOT arrested or the dealer if you trade it in.

I can't take credit for this, a fellow rider on another board that I also frequent came up with the idea.

I would use 2-3 layers of tape since the air inside the tire could get a bit warm and separate a single layer of electrical tape. Should not matter if it comes lose, the paper and tape does not weigh hardly anything to effect wheel balance.

Guess that spot won't work if you use self sealing and balance fluid.
