Summer Travel Ideas

This summer a new ferry is starting from Yarmouth NS to Portland, Maine. I'd like to take advantage of that crossing for a few trips, any ideas on routes to take from there?

Darren if you are doing the opposite of me and coming to New England you would most certainly want to explore the Maine coast Rt 1 and then head west to see the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
