It turned out well, I really like the color. It looks almost black from a distance or a night but in the sunlight it really shines.

Hard to tell with the pics but it's a metalic dark green.

It's the 14" Clearviewshield with the recurve and I like it a lot. I also ordered the tall 16" recurve with vent and am waiting for it to arrive. I have my radio set at 15 with the auto adjust turned on to hi and I can hear it on the highway. I'll use this shield for the warmer weather and then switch to the taller shield for winter.

Where did you get it painted? It looks great!

Sorry it took so long getting back to you. I had it painted in Hendersonville where I bought the bike. The dealer took the parts off and used a local painter. It turned out great. Now I can have individual pieces re-touched locally if need be, I just give them the paint code.

I like the heavy metal flake! I'm going with the 15" Clearview in light smoke on order!!The stock shield throws the wind right in your face!!

The clearviews are nice because you have that 3/4 inch adjustment. I have the 16" on now and I did have it set at the tallest setting until yesterday where I moved it back to the flat 16". This way I'm not looking through the shield at all when looking straight ahead. I'm 5'9 and 3/4 inch vertically challanged and have a 29" inseam.
