I just came from my local honda dealer and complained about the cold hesitation issue
The service advisor stated he never heard of it. REALLY???

Sounds like my old BMW dealership. They would deny knowing of any issues I brought up until they had a factory fix for it.

Not unusual. Not considered a problem by Honda, and seldom occurs if you follow the instructions in the manual. (Warm it up)

With that being said, neither of our 6's have any 'stumble/hesitation'

Agree  Let it warm up a little and you should have no problems .batman-smilie.

That's what makes it so bizarre. Many have no problem when cold, a few do.

+1 on the plugs!
I had a slight hesitation that went away after a couple minutes of warm up. Installed the plugs, gap at (40) and no more hesitation.

Not enough throttle when slipping the clutch when the engine is cold. "Babying" it will not work when the engine is cold.

I can warm mine up and it still stumbles on my way out of the neighborhood. No problems after a few blocks. Happens every morning.

Iridium plugs did nothing for my hesitation problem. If I don't let it idle for a good 5 minutes, I have to be extremely careful.

not sure of this cold hesitation problem. I live in Buffalo NY ( no knocks about my weather please ) went riding yesterday Temp starting out 38 degrees:no: let bike warm up while putting on helmet an gloves pulled away no problem in over 10,000 miles on my F6B can't recall any problems :jerkit: so maybe a minute or 2 your problem is solved.

Yes I do notice a slight hesitation sometimes even after warming up for a few minutes. Doesn't last long though.
