So I went for a test ride and had to do it!! got a new red 2013 F6B and love it, what a amazing bike. When I picked it up it had zero miles on it. I have had about 10 new vehicles in my life and all of them have had at least a few miles on them, never had one with zero miles before!

Welcome from NC .welcome20. My first bit of advice is to apply some Liquid Glass before swirls start appearing. This falls under the "preventive maintenance" category. Other than that, ride safe and definitely "Enjoy the Ride". :041:

Congrats. I did the same, getting the red on May 9. I noticed you already put a shield on. I am trying to decide what size, make & tint shield. What type & size shield is it and what is your height as it looks really nice.

Thanks....I picked up my bike on May 2 from a dealer about 120 miles north of here and rode it home on a very windy day so the next day I was ordering a shield for it lol. It's a Baggershield 11 to 19 inch adjustable. I'm about 6' with a little longer than average torso and with just the 11" section the wind hits my forhead around 2" above my eyes at highway speeds and I can hear the stereo with no problem at any speed. with the clear extension up I am looking through it instead of over it so I may be cutting the top section down some...., I'll probably have to get the wifes approval before I do that though since we are riding to Sturgis this year and she probably will like the extra protection for the trip lol. I ordered it directly from Baggershield on a Saturday and the shield was at my door on Tuesday, great service.

Thanks, I just ordered some liquid glass and that is on the top of my rapidly growing list of things to do, after that i need to figure out something to make the back rest comfy for the wife so I don't have to put the tour pack on for the wife when we go to Sturgis.
