ALL Honda products are hard to beat!!!! My first Honda mover was in 1979, the guy who sold it to me said'" if you ever pull it more than once to start it...bring it back and I will give you a new one!!!! Many years later I gave it to my son and bought a new one!!!

But...value for dollar can you beat the cheapo's? Gotta keep them around for the first cut of the year so they can find the rocks and big hard things hiding in the grass that chip the blades.:icon_lol:

Yeah, the old MTD was hard to beat!!!! It was a 'high wheel' 21,,, paid about $100-,, 20+ yrs ago,,,

Sweeet mower.I have had my Honda self propelled mower for 11 years now.Only thing I have replaced is the blades a couple of times and the rear wheels last year.I think I will treat her to a new bag this year!Still starts first pull even after sitting all winter.Best mower I have ever owned.Hmm now if they built one with the flat six for power?:yes:

Honda does make stuff to last! You have to pay for it, but in my experience-its been worth every penny. I bought a couple of twin Hondas a couple of years ago and didn't really want to spend the money. Looking back it has been some of the best money I have ever spent:

I think so, but my data is only anecdotal. My neighbor has a black one and his lawn doesn't seem to get cut as often.:icon_lol:

BTW looking for help here. I thought about getting a drink holder but the group I cut with all prefer to stop and sit for a beer between passes. I'm told it could be dangerous .........to finish the lawn too early, because the SO might have other jobs to do.

Honda makes a really nice OEM cup holder for about $500.00 plus installation and the sales man said I could probably get it for 499.99 'cause I bought mower there.

Whatta you guys use? Has anybody tried the sit and drink technique? Does it really save your A** over the day? Or do y'all drink while ya mow? I mean if it means more chores, I might just go with what my buddies do even if I'm gettin a smokin deal on it..
