So i was changing my windshield last night and dropped the front fairing ( I guess they call it a garnish set) on the concrete in my garage and totally scraped the hell out of it. Im so pissed , and of course its black so everything shows up....
Anyone have a new one laying around they want to part with? :icon_frown::icon_frown::icon_frown:

How bad is it? Pics? Too bad for a scratch remover product?

You should get it painting it is black
should be cheaper than buying one and it would be clear coated.

I agree, just run it down to a body shop, shouldn't take em a day or two. Way cheaper than a new one, and better paint in an area that needs good paint.

It cost about $250.00 for a new one, you could put a Wing Bra [ There's one on Ebay for about a $100.00] and cover it or as everyone else said have it repainted. If it was me I would buy a new one and chalk it up to experience.

I don't have a spare one laying around, but one solution would be to go out and get a fast red one and a fast yellow one, this way you have a choice while the fast black one is repaired/repainted.
I always used to say you can never have too many guns, but now you can never have to many fast ones.
I can't wait until 2015, maybe Honda will give us a 4th color.

Could work out - you now have a reason to get something sweet painted on there.

Hydro dip it, and be done with it.

Yes hydro dip. Water transfer printing, or hydro graphics.
Really neat process and pretty reasonable.

Basically print out a sheet in any color or pattern even carbon fiber, place the sheet on a liquid solution and dip the part onto the printed sheet.
The pattern, or color transfers to the part. Dry it, clear coat it and done. Internet search it. lots of videos.

When I removed my front badge I messed my paint up badly. Just had it painted at a local body shop. $100 and it looks great.
