Went to J&P open house yesterday, big disappointment, very little metric stuff. Asked Vance and Hines about F6B pipes, all they had were Harley pipes on display and wasn't to interested in F6B pipes. The stunt show riders rode Buells and Harleys and couldn't compare to the stunt show at Road America. I stopped at the Kuryakyn tent to buy the pads that fell off my Transformer floor boards and there reps were rude and would just leave you standing. I will never buy one of there products again. To top it all off they had the worst kettle corn I've ever had. Positive points, Titan Lift rep was a nice guy, Anamosa is a real nice town with a beautiful state park and the road between Anamosa and Savanah is a really nice ride. I had been to the National Motorcycle Museum before and it is really nice. I will go to Anamosa again, I wanna check out them caves, but J&P doesn't want metric buisness and they surely won't get mine.

I live 70 miles from the Dennis Kirk retail outlet in Rush City, MN so it is convenient for me to run up there and pick up an order then take my wife to the lunch buffet at the nearby casino. The main problem with JP is the "club membership fee" that they want so you can get the product discounted down to what every other retailer usually is charging. I do, in a pinch, order from JP when I can't get my hands on a part fast enough anywhere else. I just did this with a set of CRG Arrow bar end mirrors for my KTM Super Duke R. I picked up the mirrors at Dennis Kirk but they were out of the adapters I needed so those were ordered from JP in Iowa. It cost me six bucks more plus shipping less MN sales tax but I had them in two days. JP, however, is consistently more expensive so my impatience sometimes costs me a few bucks.
