I have 15600. miles on my front tire and still looks good. My question is what kind on miles are you guys getting. I did the penny test and it covers the top of Abe's head and not to the wear bar. I'm going to Sturgis and want to know if I should change the tire before I go.

Change it! Peace of mind is "priceless". Just replaced mine with 16.5K miles.

Even with the center grove completely gone you have approximately 1/2" rubber in the center of the tire!

If nothing is wrong with the tire, I'd replace it after Strugis.

'Going to Sturgis' is kinda relative to your location,,,

Not listed, so,,,

Key West? Replace.

Rapid City, SD? Don't replace.

Tires are cheap! Why even ask.

Plus, a worn tire is more likely to pick up a nail or something.

15,600 is respectable mileage. How's the back?

I am not crazy about the Bridgestone front tire. It tracks funny on some metal grate bridges we have around here... I'll probably go with Michelin, possibly Pirelli Phantom when necessary.
