Okay, I give up and look to the crew here for some help. Thought I did plenty of homework and ordered a throttle lock from CruiserCustomizing.com, but I failed to check out the "fitment" comments close enough. Doesn't work with the F6B Deluxe (heated grips) so back it went today.
This trial and error thing doesn't cut it - can I get some suggestions as to what ya'll might recommend?? Thanks guys & gals!

There is one for sale in the classifieds. Guy went with the Mc Cruise so He doesn't need it anymore. You should ask him if he has the heated grips.

I can confirm that the Throttlemeister works perfectly with heated grips. They look good and are very functional.

It was called a Break-Away Motor Cycle Cruise Control Part #BAW-6CP03

That's the Brand. There is another thread on here right now where that same brand is being used on a F6B. (Uncertain on part number)

http://hondaf6b.com/showthread.php?3103-Breakaway-Cruise-Control-Throttle-lock

I personally believe they make a 'blanket statement' regarding use with ANY heated grips as all it takes is one set of grip wires installed by ??? on ??? bike to get caught up in the B away linkage to = lawsuit.

Go Cruise is cheap, super easy to install and works great on the F6B. The newer aluminum version is around $30 and adjusts to any size grips.

I intalled the breakaway cruise/throttle lock and Im loving it!
I thnk it's the best/ easiest to operate throttle lock availabl.

They say it's not comptiable with heated grips but I installed it on my Deluxe and working perfectly.
I just had to re-route the heated grip wires to the bottom of the handlebar switch housing.

Followed your lead and popped for the Go Cruise for now. Easy install, inexpensive - tomorrow on the road and we'll see how she works. Thanks.

Got my "Go Cruise 2" in the mail yesterday, I have heated grips and the something "puppies" grips, tight fit for the wide band but fit, used it a little last night and seems to work ok. Getting ready for the Sturgis trip.

The puppies should be removed / slide out from under the area that the Go Cruise occupies.

What size is everyone using with the Go Cruise, Stock and Kuryakyn Grips and Kuryakyn Clam Shell Grips. The owner of the company states they work perfectly, but wanted to make sure. It looks like most people really like them. I really need something on my F6B also.

Seems to work w/the Puppies, I just know my wrist will need an occasional break on that ride to Sturgis and the Go Cruise will supply that.

Still unsure as to which would be best for me and F6B. Lots of choices. I like the looks of the Kaoko, but the price just doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. As throttle locks go, it just is too pricey.

Breakaway seems good but quite a bit more complex

I've had the cramp busters before, but didn't like the feel of that one when I put it on the Honda earlier.

There is a new Go Cruise made of aluminum that can be adjusted for all grips and will lock the throttle better than the old plastic one. Some folks have also reported that the plastic one breaks after awhile. The plastic one works pretty well, but for another $12 you can buy the aluminum Go Cruise and it should last the life of the bike.

The Cramp Buster as you know isn't a real throttle lock, but a throttle assist. You can't take your hand off the throttle with the cramp buster.

I'm using the aluminum Go Cruise on Kury ISO grip and it works fine.

My old G-Cruise in hanging on the wall. Great 'bang for the buck'. Found the Kaoko to have 'less visual impact' and be more precise.

Never did buy into the 'benefits' of a Breakaway. (Maybe more beneficial to bikes w/auto transmissions.) Set one up on a friends bike. Once dialed in, it worked as advertised.

Crampbusters and throttle bosses.. Been there done that. Never 'right where ya need 'em and only relocate the pressure point. If looking at either a c-buster / t-boss OR a Go cruise,,, hands down,, go cruise wins.
