I picked up a 13 leftover deluxe in really fast red on Saturday. I went ahead and got the honda tall shield since I had 1,000 in accessories to get and selections were limited. I have always been a Harley guy and am going to try something different. Not only did I get a new bike but christened it with a torrential downpour on the hour and a half ride home. Only had a rain jacket and I was impressed with the weather protection. Ohh, and the roll on power and brakes are amazing compared to my Harley Ultra. I have been on the fence a while about a wing and this bike just seems cooler. I will be attaching a Hannigan GTL sidecar to this bike as a touring and camping rig to pull our Aspen camper.

Congrats on the new super fast red F6. I too came off a Harley and the power, handling and braking on the F6 is amazing in comparison.

.welcome20., foodog2, from Piedmont NC! There's still time to consider joining us for the Franklin rally. That would be an excellent excuse to escape the Alabama heat and humidity :icon_biggrin:. Seriously, you'd have to look hard to find a nicer group of folks and a better rally experience.

Welcome,
Nice to meet someone who can re-think what works and what doesn't. There will be a lot of cool reasons to appreciate this ride. My wonderful SO needed a Harley. ("just so she could say 'once in my life' I had a Harley) I cant wait to turn her. It may not happen as she is height challenged and the Softail Custom is very low indeed.
Welcome!

Welcome Aboard!! I am new to the F6B world as well. I am very thrilled with everything on the bike so far accept that it does not have an A/C plug installed in the MP3 compartment. Not that big of an issue, because it can be added, but I think it should be something standard on any bike that cost as much as this one does..
As for the rain i got caught in a storm the other day and I am here to tell you that the stock seat puddles water in the (right) spot to cool you down very quickly. But great riding motorcycle so far.
