A bit of background for anyone interested
I am replacing my 2000 Valkyrie Interstate with the F6B. I've put a bit over 100,000 miles on the Valk and felt the F6 was the best choice for me as I have been spoiled by the smooth 6 of my Valk and the 4 in my Old Wing (that I still have and probably will never get rid of).
I am a dark sider with the Valk and will probably do the same with the F6 when it is time to replace the rear tire.
I have been reading and searching here and have to thank you all for all the great info that you folks have posted here. Your info has helped me considerably as I search out and install accessories.

Welcome to the forum .welcome20. Several of us here have gone darkside on the F6B and love it! This is a great upgrade from the Valk!

Welcome. I too have and still am a Valk owner. My first Valk was a blue and cream 98. I now have a 2000 standard, with red and white tins from a 97, Woody's fairing etc... I love my Valk, and because of it's heart and soul, won't sell her.

I just got my F6B a week and a half ago. I love it. I got a new 2013 red one. Looks really good next to the Phat girl. I was on the fence about buying a new F6B, a new Valkyrie, or even a Cross Country. In the end , a test ride confirmed, I wouldn't be happy with anything less than the buttery smooth power of the flat six. Definitely happy with my choice.

Welcome.
I too have had a Valkyrie for a long time. We kept our Valkyrie in the family, couldn't let it go to just anyone. Our youngest son and his wife have it now.
He was with me and our oldest son for the last 5 days riding the Skyline Dr., Blue Ridge Pkwy and all over WV.
It is pretty cool to look back and see still see the Valkyrie and have someone enjoy it as much as I have all these years.
Below is a picture from the Skyline Dr. that they put together of the three bikes we were riding.
