New Avons anyone?

Has anyone been running the new Avon reinforced tires introduced last year?

I'm down near the wear bars on the original oems, so it's time.

I've heard (3rd hand) that the Avons give a smoother ride over small bumps, and don't track down the rain grooves, etc.
near as badly as the Bridgestones.

If it has any relevance, I'm a lightweight solo rider who rides fairly agressively in the twisties.

Any feedback is welcome.

I'm curious what mileage you're at, I'm at .025 of an inch to the wearbar on the front at 13800 miles on mine
(Brand new I had .125 to the wearbar) so I'm at 80%

Here's the results of a Autopsy I performed on my OEM Stone which had 16.5K miles! Even when worn beyond the "wear bars" the tire has some meat in the center!
