The Saddlemen organizer panels are great. They attach to the inside of the saddlebag doors with Velcro. Great way of organizing all sorts of road necessities.

Ordered a set yesterday from https://www.denniskirk.com/saddlemen/saddlebag-organizer-set.p508895.prd/508895.sku. An inexpensive fix to tuck cargo nets, bungies and all the loose little crap we all put in our bags. Look like a good way to utilize that lid space.

Looks like some good slots to store spare mags when carrying concealed :icon_wink:

These organizers are great products. They make it much easier to find the items you put it and take out of your bags every day. And during darkness its easy to find the things you need, like a flashlight to see inside the bags. lol

I have these and like them a lot. Great for storing little bits like ear plugs, tire gauge, sunglasses, etc. I found that they came with too little hook-and-loop material to attach well. I had to ad more. Not a big deal, but something to know.

There is probably a dozen ways to do this. Mine is custom, so a bit tough to duplicate. But, here is the thread about it:

What a great idea. Sounds like I have to ad it to my winter or rainy day bucket list. Time is very precious and I am taking every opportunity to ride in what little spare time I have.

I think that you could probably take the short cut and get a couple of those pen like led flashlights and simply Velcro them in place in the lid.

Most hardware stores or lumber yards would have these as an impulse item by the registers.

You wouldn't have to worry about killing the battery. They wouldn't get tons of use so the AA or AAA batteries would last a long time.

You could probably stick a small diameter piece of pvc in there somewhere and simply place that led penlight there. That way, if you had a need for some roadside lights you could remove it and utilize it outside of the bags.

I'd love to have a small led light handy for when I gas the bike up. Maybe one of those small clip on LEDs. Something that would fit in the area in the fuel cap compartment.
