I will pick up my new 2013 F6B today! I wanted this bike since Honda first showed it to us.
I took a test ride last year when you had to pay list price and I though for $2000 more I would buy the Wing but I never liked the trunk on the any bike. Plus $22,000 (Wing)is a lot of money.
I had 2 Valkyries a 98 Tourer that I brought new and a 99 Interstate without the trunk. Loved both bikes. I also had 2 1982 Honda CX500 Turbo bikes one was very nice one was not.
So it was time to sell some toys and make some room. in June of last year I sold both Turbo bikes. But then I saw a 2007 ST1300 with 4800 miles on it looked brand new so I brought. Boy that's one fun (fast) bike. Then this summer I sold my Tourer. I was down to 2 nice bikes life was good. Then I heard that the 2013 F6B were marked down, so off to my dealer. He had a black one for $15,850 with $1000 of Honda extras. I got a good trade-in for my St1300, so I signed the papers. It's mine.

Congrats. You will enjoy your new bike. I will be interested to hear how it compares to your ST. I have never ridden one but always look at them and wonder if I should get one

The ST is a fun bike. It has all the speed that you want and handles great. I did put handlebar risers in and a Lamm seat. The longest ride was a 300 mile day and it all was good. Longer rides I would took the Valkyrie.

Some great looking hardware in your past!! I had an ST1300 also, and I thought it was a good bike. I loved it for the ability to travel far and fast. My son and I did many two up trips when he was 10 -11 years old on the ST.

I had 2 dislikes with the ST . First it was hot, hot, hot to ride. Never put anything a fairing pocket that you didn't want cooked. Secondly it seemed nervous on the freeway especially with trucks and turbulence. Not a wobble, just like it was on tip toe all the time.

The F6B is not quite as agile maybe, but solid as a freight train and with much better heat management.

Enjoy!

enjoy your ride, I too had ST's 2 1100 and a 1300, wonderful bikes too, but I'm sure you'll prefer the F6! majority of the time. D

I got my F6B last night put on about 50 miles I was too busy showing to my riding buddy's. Yea they loved it. I know I wouldn't be missing the speed of my ST1300 It felt fast and seems to handle great. I'm happy.

.welcome20. And :congrats:

Welcome to the party!

I dig some of your older hardware. I almost shelled out for an ST years ago... and I've always love the look, design and idea of that CX-T. Shoulda bought one when I had the chance.

But the F6B is hands down the best bike I've had in 37 years of riding.
I have no doubt you're gonna enjoy it. :icon_biggrin:
