When the F6B came out I was impressed with the way the cosmetic changes recast the bike's attitude. Sitting on it, it just felt right. Kept finding myself swinging by the local Honda dealer to check 'em out. Got to the point I couldn't take it anymore...so the wheelin' and dealin' started. You'd think I was buying a car. Interest rates all over the map ("But Mr. Dealer, Honda's advertising 1.99%")..and finally found a small-ish semi-local dealer offering a great price on a new '13 black deluxe. Papers are signed, trailer is hooked up to the truck...now all I'm waiting for is for them to pull it from their warehouse and assemble/prep it to pick it up.

Was seriously considering the re-issued Road Glide or the new BMW sport tourer, the one with the major recall issue going on. Didn't think the Road Glide would offer a serious difference from my Street Glide in the riding experience..and sitting on the BMW just didn't feel right. I've read with some amusement the sometimes disparaging comments on other makes, but as far as I'm concerned it's all good. Two wheels after all, right?

This forum has been an invaluable resource in getting the lowdown on the bike, accessories, etc. Thank you to the perpetrators of this site!

And...hello!

Congrats. I came from a 07 FLHX. You will soon find out how much better this bike handles, as did I. This bike is amazing.

Good decision. I myself came over from harley. I'm not gonna bash harley. But I had issue with my 13 roadglide. You will love this bike. It is smooth, quick, responsive, and did I say smooth lol!! Enjoy the worry free miles ahead

Welcome! You still have the 916?

Sure do.

I was living in Tucson at the time. Saw it on the cover of Cycle or Cycle World in early '95 and fell in love. It's one of those landmark bikes, it's styling is timeless and it makes you smile as soon as you hit the curvies. And, at 22000 miles, has been more reliable than the Buell@12000miles which is currently waiting for me to replace its stator...for the second time!

Congrats on the F6B. Having come from a bunch of Harleys, including a recent Road King as well as a Victory Cross Roads, it is my belief that those bikes all pale in comparison to the F6B when it comes to power, handling and reliability.
