Does anyone have any tricks to remove the very smell of death itself from your motorcycle boots?

I got caught in the rain on a ride yesterday and my riding shoes stink really bad.

After they're dry stuff a couple of dryer sheets in them and leave them for a couple of days. I never tried it with boots, but it works great with helmets.

I have heard that pouring in 2 bowls of steaming hot oatmeal, cinnamon flavor, works like a charm,,,,

Haven't tried it myself, but,,,,,,,,,,,

Don't make the oatmeal too hot, you still need to wear them for an hour with the oatmeal in ......:yikes:

In the future, try washin' yer feet more often...

(Wearing yer boots with the oatmeal in 'em does help fumigate yer feet some, but ya really need to work on the SOURCE, not the SYMPTOM!)

My other shoes don't smell at all. It's only my riding shoes after I caught in the rain few times. So it's not my feet.

Hopefully google will help me. May b it's time to visit HD store n buy new shoe. I love their shoes n clothes just not motorcycles. I bought these shoes 3 yrs ago.

I recently bought Rhino boots at a farm supply store and I am very impressed with them. The leather is thin like maybe Lama leather or something, they are made in some south American area where Lamas frequently are farm animals.

They dry overnight even when totally wet, never smell, built better than the $150 boots I have been buying from Redwing and Georgia boot. Check em out... http://www.rhinoboots.com/8-inch.htm Got mine for $49. the 8" lace-up.

Once they dry put sweet PDZ in them, think baking soda in your fridge on steroids. This stuff soaks up orders vey well, leave it in for a few days then check them. Look for it at your local feed store.
