Thanks Phantom! Great event, great people, great bikes, great food. Rode 1063 miles on Friday to the event, took a more direct route home today, 1002 miles from the Microtel parking lot to my garage door in 15 1/2 hours. I learned a lot about my bike and accessories this week end, which I intend to share over the next few days. What a deal! I'm still smiling!

Absolutely! Still in Franklin, heading home tomorrow. I thought I had everything I needed\wanted on my bike. Now I have a whole new list of musts.
Can't thank Phantom enough for all he did to make this a great rally. He worked hard and it showed in a smooth and fun four days.

Thanks Phantom! Great event, great people, great bikes, great food.

I join with you in sending out a big thank you to Phantom. The time and effort put into the planning became obvious as the event unfolded. And, hiflyer, you're so right about the great people in our group. BTW, thanks for coming from far away to join us. Really enjoyed meeting you 'airplane'!

I'm almost home myself. I had a great time at the rally, great people, great riding, what more can you wish for?

I want to thank everybody involved in making this gathering a huge success, and especially Phantom! I'll be back next year! Now let's plan on something in Daytona during Biketoberfest!

Thanks Phantom for planning an event like this.
It was great to meet everyone and check out there bikes.
The riding, scenery, food, all the visiting at the end of each day, it was all perfect.
Thanks again for all work you put into it.

As everyone stated, Phantom puts on the best event.. He even got the weather Gods to cooperate.

It was nice meeting the group and riding with everyone. As for next year, many new parts will be added and I plan on another great time.

I was shocked to say the least. I'm only at 8856 miles and figured I had a couple more thousand before I needed to monitor closely. Discovered that when I was cleaning her up from the trip. Investigating darkside options now and will make a decision and order one way or the other by tomorrow.

Holy Crap Batman! .batman-smilie. That's some serious tire wear for only 8.8K. What air pressure have you been running and how frequently did you check it?

Consistently ran 40 and manually checked it weekly. My Zumo has the TPMS and was constantly monitored there as well.

This was quite an event.:clap2: I learned a lot about myself and this bike during the event's rides. This bike handled better than I ever thought a big bike could. But you "WING" guys already knew that. And to just pack up and go without any concern about the motorcycle is a feeling that is new to me, and I LIKE IT! :icon_lol:
I was very impressed with how well the event was organized and executed. Phantom you did a wonderful job!.notworthy. And I want your T REX!
I got back to CT around 2 PM today with a total trip mileage of approximately 2300 miles. Turned 14000 miles on the bike during the ride home.
The fellowship during the event was wonderful and it was nice to put a face to the names. We enjoyed the ride down and back with ZZ from NY. One of the best pictures of the bikes was from the back with them all lined up.:clap2:
To top off a great vacation, there was basically no rain all the way home. A great end to a great vacation. Thanks again Phantom and everyone that was there.
Oh, I guess I'll start ordering more accessories in the AM!:clap2:

I had a great time riding, talking and eating with the lot of you and look forward to next years get together. Thank you Phantom for all your work and dedication.
The only negative of the trip was getting a speeding ticket in Cobb County Ga. 76 in a 65. This is why this bike needs Cruise control that maintains correct speed up and down hills. Would have really been bad had I not been slowing down at the time. lol First ticket in 30 years!:banghead:.......Dickie

He has been a member since June 2014 and is a fellow RUNE brother of ours from another website.
Many RUNE owners own F6B's, some have sold their Runes and some of us still have them.

Bill and several of us have attended other Rallies in the past and have become life long friends.

After receiving the long distance award I seriously thought having Tony giving it to an F6B rider that had rode the longest ride.

If you attend our next years West Coast Rune Rally I will give it to you.

Are you attending Street Vibrations ? Maybe we can hook up somewhere in Reno, Meeting in Virginia City would be impossible.

Using Google maps it is 2524 miles from San Jose to Franklin and 2411 miles from Sparks NV where exbmwrider lives. Those are direct routs.

So that is why I think he should have the award. And me not owning a F6B.

We had the same issue at the Rune Rally as well.... serpentine routes don't count! PS- trailering does not count!

For some that are not aware this is a Twinn Rally, for two boards that we have...One for the Runes, there were 4 and Rune prizes and one for the F6B which were 38 and far more prizes. What we are striving for is one BIG happy family. It is our desire that EVERYONE get along and enjoy themselves showing RESPECT for each other and WHATEVER type of bike they ride. We DO NOT segregate by ANY means!!! :yikes: There were 5-6 Harley's as well...
