Saw my first F6B in the wild this morning, a Matte Sliver one in Hastings, MN.

Two days and 740 miles, zig-zag around Wisconsin. Stopped by "Choptop" place, good guy to meet. He was busy preparing his place for a big party. My schedule and his party were 1 day off, but was good to meet him and look at his 6. If he has he party next year, I will be there. His 6 was the only F6 I saw on my ride. I did stop at a dealership and saw 2 on the showroom floor, but they don't count. also, on the floor, was a new,2014 Valkarie, black. Sure was pretty! Choptop has a nice place up north, and nice area to ride in. Any riders close to him should check out the area. Good people!

5000 miles and thirteen states in two weeks and I've laid eyes on four other F6Bs other than my Sweet Georgia.

I saw a red on Hwy 287 somewhere around Electra, Texas somewhere around 6/10.

Then on 6/16, in Estes Park, CO I saw a black one and about an hour later saw a red both at the same intersection of 34/36.

THEN tonight I saw a beautiful F6B who goes by the moniker Miz Reaper. Wait until you people see her in person. The pix don't do her justice. Wycked outdid herself!

The attention these bikes get is just silly. I used to think my buddies on Spyders got a lot of attention. Not even close.

And it's not confined to one group of people. EVERYONE loves this bike. (Well, except for the one group we know who hates this bike.) Young, old, male, female, all social classes, everyone.

One teenage boy in Pennsylvania asked me what it was and I said "Goldwing" He said, "Hmm. My grandpa has a Goldwing and it doesn't look like that." Your grandpa? Lol

Went for about 4 hr ride yesterday on my F6B and again saw nothing but Harleys and an occasional GW...Pulled into a service station for a break and water and a kid on a Yamaha "crotch rocket" pulled in about a minute later..As he walked toward my bike he said that my 6 was the second one he had seen during his ride...I told him I have had mine for almost 3 years and have only seen 2 in all that time.....Oh well, I guess we are not "part of the herd", which is okay with me......

Saw a nice shiny black B (loaded with travel bags) on the main drag of Red Lodge, Montana on Saturday, Aug. 6. I was taking a break from the road, sitting on a bench beside my black B in a store parking lot across the street from Bone Daddy Custom Cycles on Broadway Ave (highway 212). He didn't see me parked there in the shade. But he made a second pass down Broadway Ave. and we waved to each other. Thought he might come around for a chat or that I'd see him somewhere along Beartooth Pass but I didn't see him again. I was on a 3,900 mile, seven state tour and saw a few other F6Bs passing me in the opposite direction during this trip. Can't recall exact locations for those sightings though so they don't count!

Saw a black one today on hwy 50 in Kenosha county today. Funny story. I was riding home from work with my car pool buddies who both ride Harley's. They saw my head whip around to look at the B cruising the opposite direction from us. I said " did you see that ". Their reply was "what " I followed with " it was an F6B, don't see many on the road " they both looked at me and said " what's that?" I laughed and said that's the bike I ride.

Saw his "very-nicely-equipped" matte silver baby.
Took him to Pompano Joe's on the waterfront.
We had a great time and chatted for hours.
The rat bastard managed to buy my supper in the process - I think he had an "in" with the wait staff - so much for my being a host!

Anyway - he took lots of pics - I was hoping he would post some/them.

A common theme here is that sightings of the B are rare. It occurred to me that it might help if we (especially the black ones) don't go so fast so other B owners (especially the Red ones) can actually see us when we pass them!

I know, it's a curse to have such a super fast -best-bike-ever but we need to consider others.:cheers:

I've never seen one in northern NJ where I ride. When I make the rounds at the usual pit stops (occupied mostly by Harley's and sport bikes) no one knows what to make of it. I have to explain that its related to the more familiar full Goldwing model.

I just spent 3 days riding 1800+ miles and didn't see another 6. In fact, I've never seen one on the road. Most people I encounter (in cars next to me and/or walking by) are visibly intrigued with my bike and have a look on their face that says "that is awesome...what the hell is it?"

You'll find this bike is a very forgiving mistress in the hills and your riding skills will take a quick holiday while you learn her lower center of gravity maneuvering capabilities and scrape point angles.
Then? It'll just keep getting better and better....

It's really a knockout and what a great color for his Matte silver B. Now he wouldn't trade straight up with Mudflap 's beautiful blue B ( nice try Mudflap) so I guess he will just have to make the run to Hartco and get his own.
Anyway all that to tell you we had three B's in one place this morning and got a few folks to stop and look... Still the best looking Honda out there 😊

Saw a yellow F6, parked on main street in my home town. I went around the block, and the rider was just getting aboard. Was from Illinois. Was not a member of the Forum. I suggested he should get involved, as all the good info etc. Bike looked stock, except for a clear 11" windshield. He said he loved the bike.
Also, during my Sturgis trip this year, I saw at least a dozen F6s. All were either black or Matte silver. I may have seen some, more than once. One had a California plate, and an IBA sticker on the rear. Never saw the rider, the bike was parked, among the masses of HDs.

Right on, I just went that way on Saturday. Coming into Sandpoint, once I hit the long bridge, was the most beautiful I have ever seen the area this weekend, glorious fall colors. We rode up through there, to Hope and up to Troy, Montana for a burger and beer at the Home Bar, then back through Bonners Ferry to home in Hayden.

I have to admit, I am really leery of that right at night with all the deer moving during and after dusk, that was a nail biter all the way back in the pitch dark.

So if you were in the area and saw a yellow streak, that was me. I was riding with three other buddies.

Matte Silver headed eastbound on US-24 Manitou Springs to Colorado Springs around 9am this morning. Could not catch up with the bike to check license plate due to traffic. I think it may have had a angrystadt windshield -- definitely a two-piece. One thing I noticed was the stock rear lighting does not show up well, especially when headed into the morning sun. Combined with the dark bike and dark clothing not real visible from the rear. Additional, brighter, LED taillights really make a difference. I'm not picking on this particular bike, but it made me really realize the shortfalls of the stock rear lighting. Food for thought!
