Well I don't like trikes and was unimpressed with the Spyder. Cost seems a little insane. Guess I'd try the Polaris thingie first. I do like how it looks though.

Pass. :icon_rolleyes:

A Motorcycle has 2 wheels.

If you need 3, get one more and buy a car.

Also, I doubt if those front wheels cantilever like the Spyder, which would be a huge problem for me.

That is all I have to say about that!

Couldn't have been worse looking if they had tried. The front end looks like a disjointed, out of proportion add on. Trikes don't do it for me but for those who like them, there sure are better looking choices.

Wellllll some folks have no choice but to go to a trike if they want the wind in their hair.... I like it...better than a Spyder , the traditional trike is what we are used to. Would be nice to know it the front end "moved"... wayyyyyyy to much $$$$$$..... even if I only had one leg, arthritic joints, artificial knees, a bad back or a wife to big to hold up!!!

Well I DO have a trike, not because I want one, but because I need one. As Steve rightly says if you still want the thrill of riding a motorcycle, and feeling the wind in your hair it's sometimes the only choice. I still wouldn't have this one though, I want my trike to still look like a bike, and this for me doesn't.

I've seen this before and it's interesting, but all things considered, nah. If I wanted to go to this style, I' look at the Spyders. They were built to be this configuration and ,IMHO, have a more cohesive appearance.(not to mention cheaper) Plus, they have storage up front and reverse. It doesn't look like that one has any storage up front.

I'd much rather have Phantom's T-Rex!

21 grand add on on a $17,000 bike? Good luck with that....and any future sales.

Hate to say it, but I'd pocket the 13 large price difference and get a HD Freewheeler before purchasing any fully faired bike modified with an added front appendage!

:nono: My baby isn't going anywhere, I'll sell all of my other bikes before my T-Rex :icon_mrgreen:

Here is a used one for sale on Flea-Bay
Has had the frame replaced
New Tires
NEEDS a paint job
With the mileage it has, it may need the reverse box rebuilt

With the rebuildable title that it has ... I would offer $20 - $23 K
A cherry condition T-Rex is valued twice the amount that I would pay for this one on Flea-Bay.
I do have a spare engine with 3,000 miles for a 2002 - 2006 T-Rex if the mileage on this one scares you.

I know how I feel about it...ewwwwwwww! That thing is :moon: ugly! For function alone, I might choose it over the Spyder but otherwise, no thanks .

I said I would much rather have it. I am not smart enough to actually have it!!!!!!!!!! I am old enough to know better, but too young to resist the temptations.
My wife and local authorities no longer allow me the freedom to build or buy anything that might cause problems or safety concerns with the general public.
I built my son a go cart years ago and he had a blast, in my mind it looked like fun, so I built me one with a GIXR 750 engine. WOW, that thing was a blast, They took it away.
Wife went on vacation with girlfriends once, she should have known better than leave me alone. so as the story goes it clearly was not my fault!!! and I'm sticking to that version. I made her Miata into a monster Miata, about 600 hp. Man that thing was a blast. They took it away too.
Some might say I have judgment problems, I maintain the rest of society has no sense of adventure, or humor. I been fighting these battles all my life.

That is correct my wife rides a Road Smith trike and enjoys about 17000 miles a year,
and I do understand about the T-Rex some three motorcycle are a blast to ride.

Don't know about this one, its unnatural, like a Goldwing sodomizing a CanAm Spyder. On the other hand Polaris is coming out with a 200+ hp trike and the 2015 Spyder is radically cool looking(tho if it still handles the same as earlier models, I'd rather ride in a turbo'd wheel barrow).
