Howdy!

I got the "$1000 free Honda accessory package" :jerkit: with purchase of my 2013 F6B.

Since I was forced to select Honda's overpriced parts, I chose the fog lamp kit. Schroader's Honda ordered part # 08V70-MCA-S40.

I just got the lights, but they look too big to even fit in the cowl. Is this how they're supposed to look?

Honda's website says the proper fog lamp kit for a 2013 F6B is part # 08V31-MCA-100E. Did the dealer order the wrong part, or am I missing something?

I got mine about a month ago and they were the older part number but I think just a part number change for the lights. They will work just looks too big. Mine look exactly the same.

My dealer got me part # 08V31-MCA-300E. My bulbs look smaller than your picture shows.

Terry, the 300e is the Canadian number, 100e is the U.S. number .

Yes that's right who would think a round light would fit in a square opening.

There will be gaps at 5 & 11 and 1 & 7 o'clock because it is a round peg BEHIND a square hole. I've seen covers that will make the cowl appear round but I've only seen them in a chrome configuration and honestly it's really hard to see the gaps when you're staring at the bright LEDs. If you Zoom in on this picture you will see where the gaps are and that the lights sit behind the cowl not in it. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys! That's a big help.

I was just concerned when I found that the part #'s didn't match on the box vs. internet, and the box contents didn't appear to fit the bike.

But it looks like it might be the right part. Will give it a try!

Thanks again.

To be honest, the aftermarket stuff looks better. I'll install the lights today. Its a shame that 1000 bucks just gets you fog lights, luggage and rear rack brackets. But the saddlebag inserts are well made. BTW if anyone wants to trade the rack kit for black areo pegs or center stand kit, let me know. Otherwise I'll figure out how to install my old tour PAC on my bike. We also have a set of kury grip covers, chrome, that works with heated grips. Never installed.
