Will a full face helmet fit inside either saddlebag? Always wore a half helmet and would like to get a modular or full face. Thanks

Depends on the helmet size and brand. Some FF will fit, others won't.

This vid shoes a SHOEI Fullface fitting in the left side saddlebag at 1:45 minutes. Rest of video is pretty funny to watch actually.

I have a Schuberth Concept helmet, it does not fit into either side.
Found an AVG that fits, but tight.

Before you buy, run it out to the parking lot and try it first.

I can tell you that a large Shoei Qwest does not fit into either side.

This is what I use when I need to lock a helmet or jacket...

I've fit a small Shoei Multitec and a medium Schuberth C3 into the left case.

Although my helmet does fit in the bag I usually use a cable and the provided OE helmet lock. It works great!

My XL HJC SY-Max Full Face helmet fits in the right side Bag very nicely. Without being jammed in!!!

Looking in at the back wall of the Saddle Bag you will see there is a recessed area that the top of the Helmet will fit into soooo

The way I do this is to set the Helmet on the Saddle Bag Lid facing forward and close the lid so that the top of the Helmet fits into the recess of the Saddle Bag back Wall.

I hope this helps

I have a Shoei RF1000 and a RF1200, both size Small, and both fit in the bags.

But remember with Shoei, the shell size is smaller with the Small size helmet. So if you have an XL it might not fit.

How do you like your Schuberth C3? I was thinking of getting one. Are they really as quiet and light-weight as they advertise?

It's a shame really that this bike with its huge ass rear-end doesn't have enormous saddlebags...

I wear a large Speed & Strength Spin Doctor helmet in 3/4 mode (i.e. with the chin brace removed). This easily fits in either side.

2X Shoei leaves the left side box about 2 inches from closing.

Large Shoei RF-1100 will just barely fit in the left side but you have to force the last quarter inch closed. Its so tight that I'm not sure I trust the latch to hold while riding. I have not tried it yet.

Shoei too expensive to see it rolling down the road... :icon_doh:

I've put Shoei RF 1200 M in left side without a problem.
Have put old ICON M in left side, ICON S in right side.
Need to move helmets around to get them into the deepest recess part of the back wall before closing bag, as it's always a snug fit.

Steve - looks interesting. To which part of the bike do you usually connect it?

Just a thought for everybody - ski shops all carry various types of locking cable devices, used for locking one's skis, usually to an outside rack of some sort when you take a break for lunch, etc..
These can be very useful for locking motorcycle helmets and jackets, too.

Tried to fit my Shoei QWest XL in the bags but it's a no go. My Shoei RJ Platinum 3/4 just fits.
