I know this has been discussed and I will search the forum but just incase I cant find it. How much did you pay for your 4 year additional warranty.

I just got a price from my dealer.
4years $470
then an additional $110 per year up to 7 years.

I just paid $699 for the additional four years. Guess I should have shopped. So that gives me 7 full years of coverage.

I am not sure what Carolinarider was talking about when he said $110 a year to get to 7 years.

I got 3 years of factory warranty plus for $699, four more years for a total of 7 years coverage.

So for 7 years (3 are free by the way) that amounts to $800 ($470 + $110 + $110 +$110). I believe that $800 is the list price for the 4 additional years so this is not a good deal. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The way I took it was $470 for the 4 additional years, $580 for 5 years, etc but know that you raised the point I think I better confirm. The $800 for 7 years (Total) would be more inline with what you all are talking about.

There is no way they would be selling 7 additional years for $800, 4 years additional would be the max right?

In Canada this nonsense costs almost $2k.
It does include roadside assistance, but still, $2k for 7 years of coverage?
I couldn't say "no thanks" fast enough.

I bought 3 years for $399. Mine came with the 3 year warranty plus a 1 year extra warranty.
The dealer wanted $499 for 3 years and I offered $399 and he said sure.. I think it's a good deal.

I read that as 10 years covered...3 free, 4 at the one price and 3 more additional years if wanted????

I am calling them tomorrow to get to the bottom of it but I think its 7 years for the $800 which I concur is not a great deal. I will post when I find out the real deal

If it is an additional 7 years it is a great deal...not sure it would be the other way.....that would just be wrong... it would depend how it was said or written...

I paid $700 for 4 years on my Rune.

In the United States I believe that Honda offers up to 4 additional years only. On my VTXs it came with 1 year and I was able to extend it to five years max. On our F6Bs the warranty should be 7 years max.

I'm talking about the HondaCare Warranty not a third party warranty.

This is a good example of protecting would you have as well as what Companies will do to you in a limited market.

In Australia the standard warranty is 2 years with the 'extra' being.......

You can have a 1 , 2 or 3 years. $795.00, $995.00, $1295.00. (pasted from an email from my Honda Dealer)

When I bought mine I got a total of 7 years(extra 4 years) unlimited mileage for $525. I couldnt buy it fast enough. I plan on racking up well over 100k while still under factory warranty. How can you beat that??

There's a dealer from the Wing forum that sells them for $499, that's the cheapest I had heard of until now. I will buy one next year...

Sounds about right, I told my dealer I wanted the warranty at coast he was making enough profit and it was a deal breaker if he wouldn't play. He did.

See Post #30.That was earlier this year.Maybe they still offer it.If enough of us were to buy I'm sure someone would give a great deal.Us 13 owners our in the 3rd year in 15 so I will buy 4 more years next year as I plan to keep this bike for many more years.

Can't use this one if your bike is registered in Florida. we got stupid rules down here!!! My dealer told me the extended warranty was $799, I declined for now. I could have got the same deal on the Wing which I only kept for two years. My understanding is you can buy it any time prior to the standard one running out. I will wait to make sure I am keeping it!

Please add me to your group purchase plan. I love my '13 and want it to last another 7 years without major repairs. I drive it only 3000 miles/yr so time is more important to me than mileage.
