Hwy 42 to the ferry would be pretty, but just too far away from me in the Delafield area this time. Next time though!

For those that did make it to the Door, how was the ride?

I chatted with a yellow F6B rider From IL in Lake Geneva this morning, and saw a black F6B SB on Hwy 67 in Waukesha County this afternoon. I believe these were just the second and third F6Bs I've seen in WI since 2013! It was the most amazing Fall day in Wisconsin, 70 degrees and sunny. :clap2:

We had 6 bikes 4 Valkyries 1 Goldwing and my F6B. Weather and roads were great not many cars but on the way home we ran into a 50 mile run there were hundreds of runners they started at the tip of Door Co and run to Sturgeon Bay. They had pit stops every 5 miles to change runners . My son ran 2 of the lags of the race. I drove the whole way but didn't see him. Maybe I was too busy looking at the female runners. From my house and back it was 225 great miles. We did lose the Goldwing rider, we made 2 left turns into a Gas station and he was the last bike he couldn't cross the hi way because of a truck and when he did he didn't see that we were at a gas station. Thank God for cell phones. Because he kept going trying to find us. after about 10 minutes he returned my call and came back. I told him we would not leave anyone behind we will wait at ever turn off. Lets hope for more nice days before winter returns. 2 of the riders stay over night on Friday and Saturday they were from Watertown (2 1/2 hours from me) We ordered pizza a few beers we were all very tried so it was a early night. Today the bike need to be wash.

Sounds like a great weekend. Hope for a few more myself before the cover goes on for the winter.

Got a little over 300 miles in this weekend, would have been nice to make it but not in the cards.
