View Full Version : Is your F6B the only bike you own Now?

NO for me, as I read these forum posts, it seems like most members own a few or more.

Currently I own 11, I say that I'm selling a few but we all know that's BS. I have been down to only one bike during college but have never been less than one since 1st grade.

Right now, the obsession is my F6b

Damn, ED... 11? Wish i had the space, We have 2 F6B's in the garage. I'd like to have an enduro sometime, like an XR650L or DR650. Something to screw around with. I'd also like a hot rod Sportster, they are fun. But for now, 1 for each of us is enough.

I have this thing for Suzuki "DR"s currently have a DR400sm converted to a full on Dirtbike & a DR350, I keep saying I'm gonna sell.

As for the "hot rod sportster" you mentioned, I own a Buell S1 Lightning... I think a guy should own different bikes for different stuff, sorta like clothes.

Technically I own two right now, but I'm trying to sell my VStar so I think of myself as a one bike owner.

Ideally, I would really like to have at least two with the second being a grocery getter/around town bike. For that, I'm thinking either a Honda Helix or Pacific Coast.

If I had room for a third, it would be a vintage bike. For me, that would me an old Moto Guzzi, an old BMW airhead (preferably a toaster), an original Goldwing, or an Old Norton Commando -- in that order.

A fourth would be a mild dual sport or what we called scrambler back in the day. Lately I've been enamored with the Honda Transalp, but thats a new infatuation

Fifth I'd probably be looking at a full on tourer. I want to say that would be a Victory Vision, but knowing what I do now, maybe a Valkyrie Interstate? The problem with Valkyries is that I've never found one that fit me just right. I don't know what it is.

After that, I'd just be collecting. :icon_wink:

2 Bikes for me. 2014 Black F6B Deluxe and a 2012 Honda Fury with lots of modifications. The Fury is...well...was my baby. I kept her when I got the F6B because I couldn't stand the thought of seeing her go. Now that I have the F6B I just can't even imagine riding the Fury other than around town or when I want to ride the bike that turns all of the heads. I can't take that bike anywhere without people staring or commenting on it. I might just be interested in selling the Fury if anyone has any interest or knows of anyone that might be interested.

If I had room in the garage I'd have more.......................F6B, FJR1300, CB1100, Vmax, CB750, CX500 and S50. Waiting to see the new Indian Scout, that might be next.

Had 6 bikes in the garage a few weeks ago.

Sold the two Ruckus' and sent the Street Glide to a shop for consignment sale.

Down to 3 now, the F6B, a 82 GL1100I my son and I are slowly converting to a naked wing and my retooled 1980 CB750F Super Sport:

Right now it is. I traded my '98 Valkyrie & '08 650 V-Strom in on the "6". I really miss that Suzuki so who know what the future holds. :shhh:

One is enough for this guy...You can only ride one at time and that works fine for me....Happy for those with many bikes, but I personally do not need/want the hassle and expense....Too each his own!!!

I'm down to one. I had an 07 Ultra and 07 Level III Wing. Now, just my F6B. Oh, and my Jeep Rubicon, for when I want to play in the mud.

I have had up to three at one time. One for my ride, wife's ride, and when the third one became a rack to dry towels on after washing the other two, I sold it. I am down to one now and will most probably remain that way since the wife has given up riding. If I am only going to have one, the F6B is a pretty good choice.

I've always stuck to one bike at a time.
Now it's the F6B, and I doubt I'll be replacing that any time soon.

That's one of the pleasant surprises I've had with the F6B -- It's really a very versatile bike. It's nimble enough that I'm OK with it around town whereas some other bikes sat in the garage a lot more if it was just going to be a quickie trip. The saddle bags don't hold as much as I thought they might but I'm sure with some kind of top bag, I'll be more than pleased with it on extended trips as well. Twisties are fabulous for such a big bike and it's a real pleasure on a day or overnight trip. In fact, I think it's extended my daily range by a couple hundred miles. I haven't actually had a chance to prove that out yet, but that's what it feels like. All in all, The Black is one of the best all arounders I've yet to come across.

2013 F6B, a couple old Goldwings, 2000 Valk Interstate, 83 CB900F and a 1961 Honda Super Cub.

My 1978 GL1000 I have had for over 20 years and the other GL1000 I mounted a Side car to it 8 or 9 years ago just to be different. Can't stop anywhere without getting into a conversation with someone about it.

Cannot ride them all... 2000 Vulcan 1500, 1998 Valkyrie Tourer, 2012 FLSTSE Softail Custom and the Wonderful F6B.
I wont be getting rid of the F6B anytime soon. What a great motorcycle! Would love to have a garage sale, but just cannot make it happen.

The Scout is awesome. That's what my wife will probably end up with to replace her aging Vulcan 800. I really liked the Yamaha Bolt too though. Wish I could have tried them side by side. You've heard about the Ducati Scrambler no doubt?

Also very curious about the Slingshot, but the looks would have to grow on me.

Yup, the New Ducati Scrambler is also on my short list along with a Triumph T100. But the Indian Scout really has my attention at this point due to the 100 HP liquid cooled motor. Just need to wait until they hit the showrooms and then go for a test ride.

Two riders now down to three bikes.
1997 Valk Tourer is for sale & I have a buyer. We had 4 between us & I made the decision to get down to two.
Pair of F6B's that should last us forever!

Must be hard deciding what to ride, but once you have a destination or propose in mind it probably happens naturally. I usually have 3-4 bikes to choose from depending upon the weather, duration of the ride and one or two up. Must admit that I ride the F6B more than my BMW K1300s or my KTM RC8R as it is just so versatile. It's also the only one with a passenger seat, which is why I have only one wife. Much easier to trade bikes than wives, and they only take up a little space in the garage--the bikes, of course.

Nope, he who dies with the most toys wins! I have the F6B for 90% of the riding I get to do, an 85 V65 Magna for my "classic hot rod" and an 81 GL1100I for drinking beer and working on. I agreed to sell my KTM 620 before I got my 6, as it had tried to kill me on multiple occasions. :yikes:

I have a 93 Honda CBR1000F which I truly love but don't ride as much since I bought my 13 F6B. Not even considering selling either of the Honda's...the Kaw soon as I get it running,if my daughter doesn't talk me into keeping it...
