We are going to have the New Passenger Backrest's in stock within a few days now. They have arrived at Big Bike Parts and we have a few with our name on them.
There has been a lot of interest in these backrests. This should be a great addition to your bike if you do not have a passenger backrest or if you want to upgrade from your stock backrest for Passenger Comfort.

I don't see how it adjusts vertically.

Very easily.
Here is a link to the instructions.

There are three mounting positions on the bracket. You will bolt the pad to whichever height you desire on the bracket and then use supplied short bolts to bill the holes in the bracket that you do not use.

We have some of these in stock now.

I'm wondering if anybody makes a larger or taller pad for better back support? That's the big question my wife an answer to.

You should not have a problem since you already have the Honda Backrest Mount which the OEM Luggage Rack mounts to.

These are about 1" wider then stock, but can be put a couple inches taller which makes all the difference for passenger comfort.
My wife hates the position of the stock backrest, haven't changed it out because she very rarely rides on the back of it.
