The possible range for a poker hand in our scenario is currently between 00402 (based on first 3 cards dealt and that we're using 3 jokers) and 99,998 miles.

Oh wow, small world. I live close to Indian Shores and take an unwinding ride on Gulf Blvd at least once a week.

Other than I-275 across the Bay, any good places to open up your 'B and let her rip near Largo?

Rub it in. I'll be lucky to get in another 75 km ride before old man winter sets in around here. Snow flurries in the forecast for tomorrow morning.
On my bucket list: Go to Indian Shores from mid-Nov until mid March, with my 'B in tow. And yes, I would wear my helmet every time out, even though I wouldn't have to. Those blue haired old ladies driving the big Buicks and Caddies scare the begeezuz out of me.

Well... there's this: http://www.bradentonmotorsports.com/info.html :icon_biggrin:
US19 has some stretches... but is heavily patrolled.
There's just too much congestion nearby; your best bet is to explore the boonies:

Oh man, that'd be great. Don't be surprised to see people in parka's and mittens during those months.
I actually miss the snow; I'll trade you locations for a season :icon_biggrin:

CW, looks like you've had a solid year riding, fortunately here in SoCal, we're riding year round. Who needs seasons when you've got a motorcycle?

OK big bird, got ya down for 2,093 miles.
Is that fair? My odometer reads 3368, not 2093.
Whether the odometer is in km or miles, what difference does it make? You are looking for the best poker hand from the odometer reading. Whether my odometer is in miles or km., what possible difference does it make?

big bird, you have a valid point, should the reading stay as-is, or does the reading need to be converted to miles, so that distances between riders remain relative to each other?
I've posted a poll here (http://hondaf6b.com/showthread.php?4143-Odometer-Poker-Rules-Poll) if anyone wants to vote on this.

I am not sure I understand this. I get the starting of 00402....but how do you come up with 99,998? Even if the Joker was wild instead of 0 that still is morphing a 4 into a 9 and a 2 into an 8. Am I missing something?
So, I can convert to KM to help me win?
SuperBrace, that's another point to think about !
Just say'in.
