Just wanted to let you know the Draggers will fit on the Honda Goldwing & the F6B..

#1 Remove stock acorn with a 10m socket (works the best)

#2 Drill the stock hole out to a 19/64

#3 Tap the hole 5/16

#4 Put blue Loctite on the threads

#5 Insert your new Draggers and tighten with pliers or channel locks

#6 Put your tools away then go riding!!

If the Law here in AZ knew that people put these on their bikes, they'd turn you every way but loose. My state is a tinderbox just waiting to go up. Wild fires are no joke here.

The owner did not know the size of the F6B...I will get the thread size tomorrow when the Honda shop opens up.. I can't find it on line......he said he would make any size I ( you ) needed......nice guy...I have bought a couple of sets from him.....

Westernbiker....if you on ocassion bend your bike over and scrub the acorn nuts, they can be replaced for about $3 + shipping....the feelers just last longer and are easier to replasce as apposed to trying to get whats left of the acorn nut out and or replace the foot peg........I have seen a foot peg fall off from being ground to nothing....these are cheaper...and of course very cool at night!!!

provide a nice shower of sparks when they touch down

OK just like I thought, I'm not so sheltered ater all :icon_redface:
Touching down hard metal parts while in a turn distracts me from the job at hand. Startles me, breaks my concentrtion. Anyone make these feelers out hard rubber? Then when they touch down it's more like a marshmallow. On my old the FXDX (the H-D that handles) I reppaced the stock foot pegs that had metal feelers with rumbber pegs from a Sportster. Leaning over into turns touching down rubbber was much more enjoyable for me.

The chance of starting a fire may be small but why take the chance?

I didn't want to to cause a big stink over these. I didn't tell anybody to buy!!! So everybody need to take there stock acorn off then because they put out sparks if you lean to far. I ride my bike like I stole it and I scrap my pegs. If you don't like them for what ever reAson.... DON'T BUY THEM!!! HOOK :)

Hey Steve--

Do these have the right threads for our bikes? If so, I'm ready to celebrate the 4th early :icon_biggrin:

Just wondering...The f6 has the ability to corner hard enough to fold up the foot peg in a turn. What happens if you catch a pot hole with the dragger or hear in Ga a center line reflector??? By by foot peg.

Same as any other bike?

Hornblower...YES 6x1.0 let the fire works begin!!! All kidding aside, on the occasion that you do drag a peg the sparks are really cool....I used to do this leaving the baseball diamond with my cleats!!! Brings back memories!!!

I was pretty happy with my "Draggers" and riders behind me said they could see some sparks. Due to the long cylindrical design, I had some reservations about the length and also about how they would hold up. I can't honestly say I had any problem at all but then, I ran across Big Dawg at the Franklin rally. He showed me the Peg Saver Pucks from pepsX Products. Personally, I like this design much better and no doubt, these are much more substantial and, of course, more expensive. Have a look at the two side-by-side:

The Draggers require no modifications to install and simply replace the stock acorn nut. The Peg Saver Pucks do require drilling a 5/16" hole and cutting away a small portion of the rubber peg cover.

I don't understand why you would want to lower your peg clearance. I hit them enough already. The pucks look like a better option, but I think I'll just replace the pegs if I wear them out.

The most dedicated 'sparklers' would rig up a way to shoot sparks on command, not just while cornering the bike,,,

Mount a couple to the bottom of the center stand,,, Drop it down while night riding,,, DOUBLE sparks for as long as ya want!
