In Italy F6B comes in black or red. The new 2015 will be gray, maybe blue ..

Exactly because it HAS texture, it has more friction, and by all that is physics, is S L O W E R.

Black, of course, represents the absence of color, the absence of texture and the absence of light. Nothing slows it down.

Even the forum header proves RED is faster than black, and yellow is even faster yet..batman-smilie. It amazes me how many times this silly issue comes up when in fact the proof is shown every time you guys log into the forum. :yikes:

Fast is relative. Fast for an Indian is not even in the ballpark of fast for a Fast Black Honda.

The debate is what color is faster.....not how fast the bike goes.

Only when there is an exceptional bike in fit and finish and performance, do they paint it red.

Like I said , fast is relative. For a cruiser this bike is extremely fast. If you think it isn't then you haven't went through the first 3 gears to redline. There are only a handful of true cruisers that are as fast or faster. I didn't buy it for speed. I own an extremely fast M109R. But don't try and tell me the B isn't fast.

I just happen to be one of the lucky ones who have the fast RED bike. It just seems to me that when this topic is brought up, its by the guys with the slower Black bikes. Maybe they are just trying to talk themselves into believing that the Black is as fast, when every known RED owner knows when in a group all the Black F6Bers see is the license plate of the Red F6Bers.
I'm not trying to get anyone mad at me, but we all know that some people just can not handle the speed as well as others, So they buy the a Black F6B

I still have yet to see one in my area. Other than a scheduled meeting, I only saw Steve's in Daytona riding up Main Street and one other (FAST Black) at the Denny's.
In Philadelphia? I'm convinced I'm the only one. MadMax is only a stone's throw away, but I've yet to see him.

Yes that was true. But the wheel was black. Its the black wheels on the Red ones that allow it to perform at all. Without the black wheels I doubt it would even start.

I ride fast on everything I own... (exception is when "2 up")

I like the idea that ppl say WTH is that guy doing as I zip by.

If my F6B only did 45mph, that would be the speed I'd ride it.

I know Black is fastest cause no rider on red has Nutted Up and burned me yet!

When I bought mine this summer the dealer had a 13 black and a 14 red. When I walked up to the black one the bike said buy me I'm faster, the rest is history.:yikes:
