This so-called "Vortex" crap is beginning to wear thin on a lot of folks...Last winter I put the bike away in early November, due to the lousy winter, and here we go again...Last year was the longest number of months my bike has ever sat in the garage...November until end of April..."Winter sucks".....unless your a snow lover....Skiers, Snowmobiles, etc.....Not me!!!

End of April????
Even up here in the colder north, my bike is on the road the first week of April.

You could move to Florida where this is our riding season!:clap2::biker:

Took a nice ride today. It was a no wind, 57 degree, severe clear, perfect riding day for light jacket and gloves. That cold snap we had in North Texas moved on east. Gonna be 70's by the weekend. Luv year around riding!

Your right to a point..But I can't stand Florida with the bugs, humidity, and in all due respect, just do not want to live there...Arizona or New Mexico, and maybe, Southern Utah would be my choices if I ever move....otherwise at 75 years old and been in Michigan since 1963, I probably will just live with the weather as we have family and friends here and my wife seems to be okay with that for now...Regards...

Rode last week it was 27 degrees, this morning it was 15 and now the high for the day is 30.

I'm in North Carolina not Michigan!!!! I'm not a happy camper at this point. Keep the damn jet stream up where it belongs!

I can't imagine riding in FL from May through the end of September, except in the evening.

The oppressive heat and humidity combo would make riding with ATGATT quite unpleasant.

I'm basing that on the very few days we get with the temps in the low to mid 30 C range (88F-95F) with 50% RH. I know FL's RH can typically reach 80-90% along with 90+ F temps..

Well sub zero most nights here now and not much better during the day. Roads have been salted a few times so my season is definitely over. Just need one good day so I can get my bike polished and looking nice for her winter sleep. 'cold'"KiltSmiley"

Usually mine is out by the later part of March..But last year was one of the worst winters in Michigan history...We still had ice and snow covered roads in the rural areas until the end of April!!....

Yes that's true, but once you've experienced the freedom from clothes there's no going back!! :smokin::moon:

rode this morning around town, to McDonalds, then to work.

will wash and wax it today, it looks like crap after getting caught in freezing rain a couple days ago.

Then I'll ride it home tomorrow morning. :icon_wink:
