How does Honda, in this day and age, get by without updating their electronics on bikes like the F6B to be bluetooth enabled? I mean, even my barebones, cheap Scion car has that capability. Whoever the buyer/jobber is that specs out what the American market will get in terms of features isn't doing their company any service.

Mother Honda is just throwing crumbs out to the third-party aftermarket. They get to make a living by providing the tools that do things we riders want.
