Ours also went up only $500, to $23499 Cdn ($20585 US). Bear in mind we only have one model, a Basic. For us to get a 'B equivalent to a US Deluxe, we would have to add the centre stand ($175), heated grips ($400), passenger backrest ($430),and rear carrier/backrest attachment ($143) for a total extra cost of $1148 Cdn ($1005 US). Self cancelling turn signals are not an addable accessory.
We do get ABS as standard equipment, a tool kit (wow), as well as the same cruise and new black exhaust.
So for an increase of $500, I wouldn't complain.
