Left Ridgecrest CA at 4 am and followed this route:
Ridgecrest - Barstow- El Centro - Yuma Az- Ghila Bend - Quartzsite - Lake Havasu- Kingman - Henderson Nv - Barstow Ca - back to Ridgecrest. 1060 miles total in 21 hours. Bike ran like a champ and is now ip to 3,000 miles. Cold morning and pretty cool by the time we got home.

2nd IB ride I every did. The last one up the East Coast about 10 years ago.

Loved the heated grips! First bike to have them.

Nice job! I did my first one right after I got the F6B too.

And I recognize the Yuma Territorial Prison in your pics. Cool historical place for sure.

Mine was about 8-10 years ago. I rode my Valkyrie from Phoenix to Austin Texas for the 'Republic of Texas Bike Rally' this rally by the way is held in June and is a HUGE event but very HOT this time of year. I took two days to get there. When all was done at the rally, we took a ride the next day around the area and ended up outside of Austin about 100 miles east. Next day time to head home. So from east of Austin Texas to my front door in Phoenix Arizona was 1148 miles in 20 hours and 45 min and all this done in June. I will NOT EVER do anything like that again. I ride at a 'Stop and smell the flowers' pace now, way more enjoyable!
