got mine installed and it is a great product. Works as advertised. However, when I installed it my mirror has a small amount of play that was not there before. It is not a large problem. Does else have this?

Short answer. No. My mirrors were just as tight after installation as before.

Just to make things clearer--- the glass mirror is what I am talking about. Both sides. I took the screw out on the bottom and the mirror was solid when I did. I screwed the bolt in and tightened it, and when I did, the glass mirror and the bolt itself has some wiggle in it. Both sides.

What happened??? Riding down the road it does not move and does not appear to be a problem.:banghead:

When you installed the stud in the mirror did you also put a washer on the stud before screwing it into the mirror? That may be your problem.

No I did not. I will pick one up and try it. Regular flat washer I guess works ok???
