Has anyone installed the additional Kury rear LED lights? How have they held up? Any issues?

I have them. They really increase the visibility of your bike from behind, which is why I installed them. The only problem I have had is that half of the bottom light went out about four months after I installed them. The lights have a three-year guarantee, but they won't honor it without the receipt, so save the receipt. Once I produced mine, Kuryakyn sent me a replacement light.

I have had them on for almost a year and get a lot of comments. Also added saddlebag one. Brake and blinker and side running lights very visible. Tried to add photo but could drop and drug on iPad. Look at my pictures I posted before.

We have had extremely good luck with those Rear LED Lights from Kuryakyn (http://store.valueaccessories.net/LEDRearFenderTipHondaGL1800GoldWing12andF6B.aspx).
Because of the paint scheme on my own bike I went a different route with lighting, but we have sold a lot of them with only positive feedback. They are very bright.
We ourselves have not had any failures from our customers, only heard of one set failing. Should last the life of the bike.
We have records of all invoices for the last 15 years in our accounting system, anyone purchasing from us does not need to worry about finding the receipt for warranty purposes if ever needed.

Not wanting to hijack, but if you have ever seen a Whelen TIR3 in place of the small reflector above the licence plate, you'd be amazed.
No comparison, IMHO.

RickW I see you are in Madison. Do you have a store front or are you strictly internet sales?

Great lights, have had on for over 20 thousand miles, no problems. The only hassle was too buy the plug and play harness to make it work. At that time it was s 3 month backorder.

+1 on that. I have the Kuryakyn lights and the emergency led instead of the reflector. The Kuryakyn are running lights and brake lights. The led flasher comes only as a brake light. The combination gives great visibility from behind the bike, especially when I hit the brakes.

When I bought them one light was out but the vendor I purchased them from replaced them right away.
A year later and no problems. May I suggest wiring them so you can use them as brake only when in heavy traffic for the strongest effect and then as running lights for the highway when braking is minimal.

Sorry, I did mean running and braking on the highway as opposed to off/on for braking only.
Having that option is the way to go.

What I have started doing is taking a pic of a receipt and made a file in my phone for receipts... if and when I need one I just go thru the file and then I can print it, email or send as a message... don't forget to write something on the receipts if needed to tell what or which vehicle it goes to...

I have Big Bike (Show Chrome) on mine. I have not seen the Kueyakyn's but I think that mine could be a little brighter.

I also like the look of the Show Chrome (http://store.valueaccessories.net/LEDRearFenderTipHondaGL1800GoldWing.aspx) and went with that. I had designed the paint wrapping around the back to highlight it with the Accents (http://store.valueaccessories.net/SaddlebagRearTrimAccentsHondaGL1800GoldWing12andF6 B.aspx) installed.
It does look a lot better with the additional Accent side pieces installed. It is not as bright as the Kuryakyn.
I added the matching Smoke Chrome LED License Plate Frame, but I still wanted more light. I added the Red Skinni Mini's to the rear with a Single to Dual Intensity Converter with a BackOff XP to flash everything.
Turned out quite different and an attention getter when you hit the brakes.

We have a shop, open every day 9 - 5. We have multiple bikes here to look at also with specific and generic items bolted on them.
We also have an F6B here to look at that has a lot of what is available on it.
Address is on this link.
If anyone needs to come at off hours just give us a call.

Hey JackB and Rickw.....thanks for the photo posts of your F6 rear light set ups....I just ordered and got the Show Chrome lower brake/run LED light bar...and was wondering what it will look like on my black F6, by itself..:icon_biggrin:.(thanks for photo JackB...).notworthy.

And I also wondered how it would look with the right and left chrome reflector saddle bag trim pieces...( thanks for photo Rick..).notworthy. have not order reflector pieces yet, but think I will later....they should really look good against flat black on my bike:clap2:

Has not been over 30 degrees here in Idaho for over 3 weeks...so the double tape mounted parts will have to wait for awhile:shrug:

Thanks again....Shaker
