I am finally in the US and have been shopping for months online. I found one in MD and bought it this weekend. I'll pick it up next weekend when I have the logistics squared away. I found all my cold weather gear, so will almost immediately go for a long ride. :icon_biggrin:

105551055610557 It's got the fog lights installed, highway pegs, and the taller wind screen already. It has about 5700 miles on it.

I am not in FL, but up in VA and MD for awhile. I just returned from deployment, and the prices in MD seemed to be better than some of the other spots when I factored in distance, logistics of getting the bike. The bike was an hour from my parent's house where I have all of my stuff stored (including my VTX 1300).

Welcome to the club.
I also came from a VTX 1300 (retro). I thought it would be nice to keep it, have two bikes.
But after a few hundred miles with the F6B, it was really clear that the VTX would be going.

You're gonna love the F6B. :icon_biggrin:

I will eventually sell it, but I want to tinker w/ it and play around w/ it some. After I do that, I'll probably sell it or ride it some. It is still a fun bike to ride, w/ it's Cobra pipes etc.

Good to be home.

Welcome back - thanks for your service.
What branch & specialty? I'm guessing weather (metoc), so that could be any of the services.
If you are going to be in MD for awhile, we could link up somewhere.

Again, welcome, home!

Good guess. :-) I am in the Navy. I am in Norfolk for the week, and will be in MD for the weekend (picking up the bike and seeing my family).

Yeah, just a long sleeve T in FL, but I am up in MD right now which is where I bought it. I am visiting my family. I rode yesterday from the dealer to my parents' house. That was about an hour and a half ride. I was fully layered in sniffle gear issued for my last deployment to Afghanistan. It was a God send.
I know Tim. He and I will be working together when I get back to reserve status.1061110612

Congrats !! Spent 4 years in the Navy back in my younger years, sometimes wished I had stayed in, would have been at least an Admiral by now. :icon_lol:

Yes, he is a Reservist as well - should have mentioned that for better ID, but y'all weather guys have a small community.
Tim has a beautiful lime green/black Valk Tourer. We did a ride together back in the summer, I was on my 98 Red & Cream Valk.

Congrats on the bike. Loads of fun.
And welcome home.
