I didn't want to hijack the previous thread, so though I would start another.

Here is a nice cheap trunk that matches the F6 nicely (especially the fast black ones :) .

It can install using the four spacers and bolts that come with the Honda luggage rack. So, just four bolts to install and remove (I removed the rack when the trunk is on).

The dimensions are about 22" wide, 11" tall and 14" deep. They are available on ebay through a handful of sellers.

Here are some pics:

It fits nice and low.

10769

Will hold two full face helmets.

It is nice for the winter time when we use the helmets more. Will probably go back to lean and mean for the summer.
Enjoy!

I must have run out of room for pics. Here are some more:

This shows the four Luggage Rack bolts mounting the trunk.
The other bolts are for a 1/8th aluminum plate for extra rigidity.

Here is the underside with the plate. I also have one cable for the rear lights and inside lights.

10773

The trunk is just short of flush with the end of the bike, though the pics make it look a bit longer.

Same thing here. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes ya don't. With the way we figured to mount 'em, they are a breeze to put on or take off.
Looks good!

Here are a couple of links to get you started:

These are inexpensive and cheaply made. They are thin ABS plastic. Even the hinges are plastic. But for under $100, I think it is worth it. They come with a luggage rack that I have not installed. It is kind of tall if you use the short backrest.

This is a better deal, but the backrest has "arms" built into it that I would remove.

This one has the backrest that I preferred, but is more expensive.
This one also can include the extra brake or running light for $15 (I rigged it for both).

Here is a generic search that will give you more choices:

If you guys want to go straight to the source, do some more reading, etc this is the manufacturer on most of the ones you will find. http://www.mutazu.com/ They do some other styles as well.

I have one sitting in my garage as well, the only reason I haven't take the time to mount it up is that it isn't color matched yet. They are not $1,000 quality, but for occasional use they are pretty decent.

I have the Mutazo smoked tour pack about $380 spent about 20 dollars on the mount
3/4plastic base and 4 pieces of thread rod cut to size remove the stock passenger seat take the four bolts on the rear carier ut in the thread rod and drop the case on the thread rod and install the washers and nuts. Snug it down and it's done in about ten minutes. I use it when traveling and or my wife comes with the back rest is comfortable. Not problems at speed snaps and locked it travels well any one interested I'll post the pictures on how I made the mount
