Seeing that we will be visiting a number of parks on our June trip, I was considering the Senior Card, anyone have any experience w/it ?

Have no knowledge of the pass, but here in FLA over 55 gets the senior rate... which in most parks is 1/2 !

National Park Pass, You must be 62 and USA Folks only. Get in National parks free, services 1/2 price. Check the web. My camping runs around $8.00 a night. Good Luck. Referred to as Old Geezer Card. :301::old::workout:

Can't do anything about getting old so might as well use it to my advantage when I can.

There used to be a Golden Eagle pass, that for one rate, would allow you into any Nat. Park. Look into that. It used to be a huge savings, no matter how old you were.

You can buy it at the gate of the next National Park you visit if you want to. You just need your drivers license.

I have that and as long as it is a federal (not any state) it lets occupants of a single private non-commercial vehicle or pass holder and 3 persons (16 and older) where per person fees are charged in n.c. It is good for your lifetime and is a wonderful value. As others have posted I bought mine at the gate of a federal park on the spot with a photo ID. Once I tried to get my buddy ridding his GL1800 & myself on a GL1800 with me in free @ Arches National Park in Utah but the female ranger was not buying it for my buddy hee :nono: She was very nice and did thank both of us for riding our "nice quiet motorcycles" instead of those noisey Harley's. Got mine a couple years ago as I was visiting Trail Ridge road often in late summer. Pays for itself and kinda rewards me for being ancient. Just show it and ride through.
