We would like to invite everyone again this year to our 2015 SE Ohio Motorcycle Ride (http://www.valueaccessories.net/SEOhioRide.htm).
We may have a person that will lead a ride with an F6B coming up on Friday from the Ohio River. If you are interested in this also let us know.

We expect a lot of people this year and a good time like always. This will be the 13th year for this ride. Without all the help from everyone this would not be possible.

The information is listed below and also on the Web Page, shortcut below also. Make reservations early, the motel will be full. We will be there starting on Wednesday again with maps. Come a day or two early to do some riding on some of the nicest roads around. The escorted ride on Saturday is at a controlled pace as everyone knows that has done this ride before.
Hope to see you there.

We will be at the motel starting Wednesday. There will be lots of people around at the motel for socializing in the morning and later in the afternoon every day. If you have a Spyder, try the Friday Spyder Guided Rides (http://valueaccessories.net/SEOhioSpyderRide.htm).

Saturday Ride Description: Leisurely ride from Zanesville going East, through scenic winding back roads at times following a few rivers and lakes. Route will go around Seneca Lake & Dam, Wayne National Forest and along the Ohio River. Ending up in New Martinsville, WV for lunch at Quinet's Court Restaurant (http://www.quinets.com/).
The Court Restaurant has a home made lunch buffet (with home made deserts) for appx. $10.95, you can also get just the salad bar. We will have a private area set aside for our group.
From there we will ride South along the Ohio River, then West into the National Forest on 260. Everyone is encouraged to only ride at their own pace through the curves. Then route 26 through the forest to the North side of Marietta, we will stop at a covered bridge on route 26 to give everyone a little break. Route from the Covered bridge South on Route 26 will be at your own pace, anyone wishing to ride at a faster pace will leave first. There will be lots of great curves and scenery to enjoy in this section ending up just north of Marietta. After taking a bypass on the north side of Marietta we will then take route 60 a short distance to the gas stop then up along the Muskingum River all the way back to Zanesville. Planned stops in this portion, Muskingum River locks #8.
There is very little traffic on these roads on Saturday, making this a very enjoyable ride.

This will be a 217 mile (total) ride. We will make appropriate gas and rest stops. There will be plenty of time for socializing. This is a good opportunity to take a nice ride, meet some new people, and possibly get away for a couple of days. Everyone is welcome, no matter what you ride. Best of all, this ride is free and does not cost anything except food and gas.
If you only want to do the portion of the ride in the morning to the restaurant or the second half of the ride from the restaurant back, that is fine. We will be at the Court Restaurant at approximately 12:30 PM.
In addition, see the SE Ohio Motorcycle Ride Guidelines Page (http://www.valueaccessories.net/SEOhioRideGuidelines.htm).

Motel: We have reserved a block of rooms for Wednesday through Saturday nights at the Host Motel, Best Western (http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/US/OH/Zanesville-hotels/BEST-WESTERN-B--R--Guest/Hotel-Overview.do?propertyCode=36140), 4929 East Pike, Zanesville, OH (740) 453-6300. Call and reserve for whichever nights that you plan on staying. Very nice rooms and some good parking lot socializing. You must give them the reservation number # B508Wiles#9, when making reservations. You will need to give them a credit card number to hold a room for you. The Saturday ride starts and ends at this motel. The meet and greet along with parking lot socializing on Friday night will also be at the Best Western.

I certainly hope to make this! :-) I only live about 45mins north of Zanesville so won't be lodging, but may try and make it down between Wed-Fri to do some of the self-guided stuff. I did not see where there's any sort of pre-registeration necessary correct? And it is OK to just show up by 9am on Saturday ready to ride right? No involvement in the Friday night activities necessary? Thanks for posting this, looks awfully fun!

There is no pre registration, we keep track of how many rooms are taken for an indication of total people. We have a fairly good idea of how many show up each year and do not take rooms.
You can show up on Saturday morning by 9 AM, we have quite a few arriving on Saturday from all over.

Rick do you take the same route every year..I'm only asking because I live close to this area and you are coming very close to route 555 the dragons tail of Ohio...also I ride these roads a few times each year but still might join in on the fun depending on what else is going on this day..it is a great route you have chosen and should be an awesome day of riding.

The last several years we have refined the route and left it the same. It has worked out well.
We are limited to, rest area with bathroom for a large group. Restaurant that can take a large group and get everyone out within a reasonable amount of time. Gas Stations that we can get large groups in and out easily and also roads that are less traveled. Also roads that are curvy, but not excessive so we don't get someone hurt.
Route 555 is one of the self guided rides we have from the motel.
Everyone has a good time.

Rick that is still an awesome route you have chosen as I ride this area regularly in the summer. I'm sure everyone will love the area and if the big muskie isn't on one of the self rides it is truly awesome sight to see also. Hopefully I'll make this ride and enjoy a sweet ride.

Another interesting note..the town of Devola was named after my wife's family who helped settle this area..and there even used to be an area in the marrietta museum devoted to her family..her mother's maiden name was Devol.

Big Muskie is within a mile of one of the rides and we tell people to stop in.
I agree it is pretty cool.
We are going to be doing the Spyder Rides on that Friday again this year and will be stopping at Big Muskie in the afternoon.
I will be down there starting on Wed. Doing a little riding on Wed. and seeing anyone that comes in early.
Thursday we pre ride Saturday's route. Friday we do two Spyder Rides (morning and afternoon) along with the party in the parking lot Friday night with everyone. Saturday is the main escorted ride. Lot of good parking lot socialization every morning and night.

We get all kinds of bikes showing up but all great people. You will make lifetime friends.
Hope to see everyone there.
