GLRyder98 had the highest mileage F6B at the 2014 Rally, I believe he had 26,000+ miles

Any other long distance riders?

I just passed 32,000

Put in service Late August 2013. I would have more miles on the F6B but I have the great fortune to ride bikes for work, mostly Indians! We like to put at least 500 miles and do the first service on new bikes before we put them into the rental fleet. I know....I have a terrible job.

I have a little over 23000 miles on my bike in two years. And I still get excited about riding this bike.

I just installed a Show Chrome drivers backrest on it this weekend and love it. Does this officialy make it an old man's bike? I plan on buying a Bushtec trailer soon so I needed a backrest to replace the support of the bags behind my I won't have to carry anymore. :icon_razz:

I think it would be more relevant to ask what's your average mileage per month. That evens the playing field for all of us who ride, and more importantly, how LONG we've had the bikes.

For example, if I have my bike for 12 months and have 12,000 miles, I average 1,000 miles a month.

If I bought my bike new, and immediately went on a long road trip, I may only have 8,000 miles, but that averages 4,000 miles per MONTH.

See my point?

So, me, I've had the Dragon Queen for 29 months. I have 32,000 miles on her.
That means I average 1,103 miles per MONTH. Still not gonna touch the guy who rides 4,000 miles per month, but you get my drift.

High mileage is one thing, but since we now have three years' worth of bikes, it becomes a moot point.
Now the retired teacher will go sit down and wait for any backlash from those who didn't pass math class. :th_sunbathe:

Except now the Northerners who (for some unexplained reason) seem to enjoy several months without riding, are going to ask that we "normalize" their months to a riding season. I.e. the Michigan peeps are are going to not have to count Nov-Apr as "months of ownership" for averaging purposes....

Did a little math, my work week riding puts on approx 750 miles a month, the rest is all weekend runs. Saturdays see 6 to 10 hours in the seat, Sundays run 3 to 6 hours, more if I'm off on Monday. Last Saturdays trip to the "Three Sisters" down by Leakey, Texas was the longest day trip I've made, ended up being 682 miles over 13 hours. Even got tagged by txmotofoto on 337 on my way in to town. I doubt it'll get much higher than this per month for my riding though.

Tagged riding Tx 337 on the way in to Leakey 04-23.

Some of you are crazy with the miles. 2015 was my best riding season so far in a short career of motorcycling.

6,800 miles from 4/2/15 - 12/24/15. That's about 800 miles per month. I thought that was a lot. I do put another 2500 miles or so on my snowmobiles most winters (not 15-16). I have about 550 miles so far this year.

Info from a FullWing site.

"I just wanted to update you on Phil's 02 Goldwing. He was leaving for Ohio yesterday after the Geezer ride to pick up his 2015 Wing. He is not trading in his 02 but it will be on display at the dealership where he is buying his new one. His odometer read 538,502 miles when we stopped for break on our way to Crystal River.

Just to update those interested in keeping up with Phil's mileage. Here is a picture I took of the odometer on his 2015 bike Tuesday October 13th.
https://goo.gl/photos/7YVj9yAmKuPCsAGdA
Phil recently rode from his home in Lima Ohio to his house in Lakeland Florida because he wanted to spend a day at Biketoberfest. While in Lakeland he rode with the Geezers on October 13th. The attached picture is of his odometer taken during our break on the way back to Lakeland from Dam Diner in Ocklawaha. After going to Biketoberfest Phil plans on riding back to Lima before returning to Lakeland in a couple of weeks for the winter. He picked this bike up on December 18th 2014 and he would like to have 100,000 miles on it by the same date this year.

My first ride was on Feb. 7 this year, but not again until March. It was a warm winter in the northeast. I have 5,875 miles so far this season with probably another two months of riding left to go. That's five months of riding, so, about 1,200 miles per month.

I will break my own personal record of 6,800 miles from last year, I believe.

My bike will be ten years old before it gets 70,000 miles on it. "coffee"

After forty months of ownership 51,187 miles of smiles:icon_biggrin:

OEM spark plugs are still in place:icon_wink: One air cleaner and set of brake pads at 30+ k miles! All miles, except for 1190, are on the Dark Side with a General G-Max:shhh:

Picked my '15 6 up in March, almost 11K on it now. This is my daily commuter. My 07 ST1300A had 155K on it when I sold it. I suspect my 6 will have at least this much when I decide it's time.

I just passed 32,000

Put in service Late August 2013. I would have more miles on the F6B but I have the great fortune to ride bikes for work, mostly Indians! We like to put at least 500 miles and do the first service on new bikes before we put them into the rental fleet. I know....I have a terrible job.

I feel jealous.

Yabiah,
How many miles do you have now? I just turned over 70,000 yesterday.

70k, fantastic!
I'll be at 62,500 by the end of the week (Sep1) but vacation is fast approaching.
I'll post mileage when I return as well as update my sig pic with new states.

Returned from vacation Sunday night Sep 18 with 68,400 miles.
I'll also be adding North & South Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi to ,my sig map.

The first one with a verified 100K miles should win a prize!

34K on my F6B in 25 months. My '98 Valkyrie, purchased new, has 174K. I also have a '99 Valkyrie Interstate with 98K, and all but 6K of those miles are mine. I ride a lot.

I think that puts you in the lead. I had 78,000 3 months ago on my 2013 when I traded for a low mileage 2015. Only 12,000 now:icon_biggrin:

I'll be ending 2017 with a little over 85k miles.
I must say, this bike has been a joy to own and ride over the last 4 1/2 years.

Good work Jehu and Yabiah! If I got to add the mileage from both my F6B's I have 90,000 miles right now....78k plus 12K. I know, it doesn't count but for what it's worth my old bike is still going strong with the new owner.

You mean w/ 15,234 miles, mine isn't the most ?? .................................................. . just kidding :)
Have a buddy w/ a '97 (I think) w/ 167,000 as of 3-4 years ago. All he's done is front wheel bearings. He's still rides almost daily.

I would need 27 more years of the average 6000 miles per season I ride now to get that. Unlikely!

So far so good.
Other than routine maintenance, no, nothing major.
And I am very thankful for that.
