Rode a 2013 delux with 7000 miles at local dealer. I ride a 1999 Valkyrie interstate. Loved the power handling and nimbleness of the bike. Two questions dealer wants 11500 for the bike, has no extras on it.what would be a good price? I would want a higher windshield, but the thing I hated was the seat,no support. So besides price what are you guys doing for better seat? I have a ultimate low rider on the Valkyrie. Are you able to make the stock seat work with added back rest? Thanks for your imput

If you are not going to ride "2Up", the Corbin Smuggler seat/trunk is very comfortable and very supportive.
Sticking with Ultimate, they make F6B seats and they are also VERY nice.

About 10k on my Ultimate seat w/rider backrest. Works for great for me.

Sounds like ultimate is the way to go. With the backrest are you able to stretch out? The handle position seemed to pull me forward and close as well as very upright. Part of this maybe the stock seat lower support slants back instead of straight up to give any support

Sounds like a very low price....If it is decent I would jump all over it....I rode a 99 Valkyrie Tour with the 2001 model year seat for 6 years and loved the bike...Most Valk riders seem to prefer the Ultimate seat which was nice...I have the Mustang seat on my F6B which is 1" lower than stock and it is terrific for me...Good support and comfortable...Also have an adjustable 11"-19" Baggershield which works super...BTW, I have seen a couple used 2013 F6B's for much more money than $11,500...Sounds almost too good to be true, but if so, I would go for it!!!

If it matters to you at all, I just paid $14,800 for a new 2013 red delux with 26 miles on it. I would have opted to saved over $3000 for one with 7000 miles on it. I would jump on it. Good luck!

I do like my Corbin dual tour with rider and passenger back rests

7000 miles is nothing and $11500 is a great price in my opinion. I would jump on that f6 and don't look back. As for the seat I have the ultimate king seat and love it but I haven't sat on anything else to compare it to. I also have the driver backrest but only used it once on a trip. Not a real fan of a backrest but you can adjust the backrest to slouch or sit upright it all depends on how you sit in the sadle. the ultimate will also sit you up about an inch. I have the Honda tall windshield and at 6ft3 I can see over it just fine. I personally don't like looking through a windshield I might be getting a madstat this year. But anyways 11500 sounds like a great price to me. Good luck and I'm sure you will enjoy the f6 if you buy it. Keep us posted

There out there new for 13k ... There is one on ebay for 12999 in my state but not deluxe . I got a smoken deal on a deluxe when I picked mine up .
You have to do what works for you . I choose smoken deal deluxe over color ... I just really hate red ... LOL

In Dec 2013
I paid $16500 for a used Standard F6B with 6k on the clock, and thought I had found a deal :icon_doh:
But would do it all over again if I had to....Its a great bike.

I say run to your dealer and snatch that ride up.

11.5k seems like a great price for an essentially "new" F6B as long as it hasn't been abused or dropped/crashed. At 7k that beast is just getting broken in. Is there any warranty included? If you buy a new one you're going to need to buy the extras anyway so that seems to be a moot point. There also will be those pesky dealership fees.

There is a certain piece of mind to be had in buying brand new, but it comes at a cost. I bought my 2013 brand new this past August and paid full price with a few incentives. If I had the option of buying one with 7k miles on it for 11.5k knowing what I know now, I would run to the bank :icon_wink:

Just my two cents...

I'm still sorting out my seat options. After that it's time for a new windscreen.

That is by far the lowest price that I have seen. I put 7,000 miles on mine in the first two months I had it. Not much this winter due to work and weather, but planning on putting a ton on this summer.
