So been reading all the gear on Daytona Bike Week and made the dissension??
After maybe 50 years of dreaming the dollars are going away for the trip:yes:
Soooooooooooooo seeing as we will be on foot but may grab a scooter we need a place that's
right in the middle of everything so its just a walk
Soooo all the advice is most welcome
But main priority is a place that's close to everything:icon_cool:

Why not just rent a bike for a week....maybe...$500...make sure your license says motorcycle endorsement on it.... Daytona for the first time visitor is pretty cool,,,need to plan on seeing the Daytona 200 at the track which is WHAT started this whole deal...Also have the Gator Nationals about the same time as well, Strawberry Festival... plenty to do and see...I would stay in S. Daytona so you could go over to New Smyrna Beach as well...

Being in the middle of everything is going to be hard. So much of the stuff has went up north around I-95 around the Ormond Beach area as far as vendors shows etc. Then you have the manufacturers set up at the Daytona International Speedway which is several miles from the beach. Your best bet and this is a compromise since money is tight is to find the cheapest hotel motel up and down A1A around Main Street. I think some kind of transportation would be a must perhaps a rental car. I have no experience with renting a scooter but be prepared to spend money and lots of it for anything durning Bikeweek. Hotel prices in the area run $180-250 a night with some requiring a minimum stay of 5 nights. There are a few cheaper motels but the norm is double to triple rates durning Bikeweek
