No wrinkles at all. the original Color was black, but the swirl marks on it was driving me crazy. It is a high grade wrap so it holds up t the UV rays and the rain down here in Florida

What kind of material was used for this wrap ? Does it have any prediction of longevity ? Does it have own ( factory ) glue and in what period of time it might "dry out" . The question is only : HOW LONG it could be good as expected ?

It is a 3M application that came with its own adhesive on one side. It should give me around 5 years or more according to how well I take care of it. I keep my Bike in a Garage always.

I am glad you all like the finished look of the bike. The price was up there because the bike is almost as big as a car...lol. I paid around 500.00 to cover the bike, plus they powder coated anything that was metallic or chrome. including the Cobra exhaust and all the foot pegs. they also wrapped the tail lights in a smoked wrap and the front windshield.

Like the lights and the wrap, not sure I want to spend the coin on those lights right now. Have already put a bunch into my B, If I were to spend that kind of coin, think I'd first look at the --------, but those lights are awesome. The wrap , do you mind sharing what kind of expense that cost. May have to see if there is a local shop here that can do that kind of work. Looks really good.

Jimmytee the price of the wrap varies , of course I picked the one of the more expensive wraps as it is textured. the wrap plus install was around 500 bucks. make sure if you are going to do the same that you get a high quality material.

Thanks for sharing. I'm sure there are people local here that do that kind of work. The pricing doesn't seem crazy, and now I think I'm motivated enough to at least investigate it. So, it is completely smooth, no wrinkles? You say they estimate 5 years of lifespan? Definitely interested. Did they scan your bike to generate the wrap?

$500 sounds reasonable to me... especially with the powder coating included...
here in Montreal: I got quote like: $50 only for small windshield ....$250 for 3 parts:windshield, the fairing part below and back flat part below the rack...

So I guess the bike would cost much more than $500 over here

Sadly I am not courageous enough on this one to make an attemmpt to do it by myself
cheers

I plan to "murder out " mine also. Doing it in small pieces though until I collect everthing then change it. Interested in the black shorty windshield. May I ask where you obtained that piece?

Awesome wrap! I've wanted to wrap mine since I got it two years ago but the quotes I got were around $1000. I figured I'd live with the paint until I really hate it.
