Ultimate Midrider seat

I know this has probably come up before but i can't find the thread so please be gentle with me.

Can the OEM passenger backrest still be used with the midrider standard seat?

Now that most people have a few miles under their belts, how do you find your midrider seat?

Looks like a good option with the rider backrest, more upright and closer to the bars.
Only setback could be the price, probably approaching $1,200-$1,300 maybe.

If you're interested in a seat to modify (MJM) there's one on Gumtree at the moment.
