Has anyone tried the aluminum version of the "Go Cruise" yet? If so can you share the details......

Works as intended. Once you dial in the friction it applies and releases quite well. Good alternative to the more expensive units.

Inexpensive, easy to install, works as described... I did install 2 O-rings, one on either side to I improve lateral stability, I love mine.:301:

Wanted to go with the brakeaway since I had one on my VTX1800 and it never let me down. Having ISO grips on the "B", brakeaway states "it will only work with stock grips". Looks like a GO Cruise is in my future:icon_cool::icon_cool:

+2 As already noted, installing two Silicon O-Rings removes any lateral movement:icon_wink:

1282112822Yep, that is the way and the GO CRUISE also works just fine with the ISO clam shell grips, the ones that fit over the OEM heated grips.:301:

I own both versions. The first plastic model had no way of setting tension so I tightened it with the aid of a small zip tie. I just couldn't be the only kid on the block without the new version so I purchased the second one. I like the ability to fine tune the tension with the small wheel. Use it all the time and it works well. I use grip puppies so I trimmed them to fit against the Go Cruise so no need for O rings.
