:clap2: Great video and even greater accessories you put on your bike over winter! Must be a very long winter at your place :icon_wink:
And how cool is that: A garage door opener on your F6B! http://www.smilies.4-user.de/include/Optimismus/smilie_op_010.gif

That thing with the neopren fork protection is new to me. Didn't know that the fly dirt can be an issue for the forks.

Great place to put the gear indicator behind the speakers grill!

Thanks again for showing!

Well done Bigbird!

Are the chrome handlebar ends stock on Canadian bikes?

Would you mind sharing the part number of those little buttons? I assume they're weather proof...

All package looks awesome !!! Added accessories will increase satisfaction to your rides. They are neatly installed and very useful . Paint is shiny - it shows , how you love your B . Great bike at all and I'm proud of your devotion . Now you have to reconsider buying some gun in case , if somebody had in mind to steal
that beauty , because ... you never know :icon_biggrin::icon_biggrin::icon_biggrin:

I bought the chrome bar ends from a US online Honda retailer. They are a Honda accessory. I could have bought them from a Canadian Honda dealer if I wanted to pay 50% more than you guys do.

The pushbuttons are as weatherproof as a switch can be without looking ridiculous.
I got them locally here:

Thank you to all who have replied with their comments. I do appreciate that.

It's funny Limoles, how you think my bike looks good and shiny. I hadn't cleaned it from over the winter. It is still covered in garage dust and smudged silicone dielectric grease.

Once I wash it and get a few coats of Liquid Glass on it, then it will look shiny!

Regarding the gun, I have been thinking a lot about that. I do carry a knife with me at all times. It is 99% for things like opening boxes and other utilitarian duties. But in the back of my mind, if anyone ever tried to jack with me, I could always pull it as a last resort.
I now understand why so many Americans carry a gun. It's not only because they can, but it does provide the final solution should need arise. Carrying a knife or a gun, what's the difference? There isn't any. Where can I buy a Glock 17 Gen4?

bigbird--I used these and at least there is the claim of being waterproof and frankly, I wouldn't say they look ridiculous.

You're right, they don't look ridiculous.
And $7.07 for 6 of them is a bargain.

Again, very nice vid Terry.

Will you be doing a 3rd one to go over your voltmeter? :icon_biggrin: (or did I miss that in the 1st vid...)

The dimple in the gas cap was not in anticipation for a screw... it's most likely the injection point used in the molding process.

The voltmeter in operation was in the first vid.
Did you have any specific questions on its install or operation?
Regarding the dimple, I try to give Honda engineers as much credit as I can. In taking the bike apart, I realize that some of their planning and execution is brilliant.

Ok thanks; I'll re-watch the 1st one.

I must have missed it because I only recently started thinking about getting one. The generator in my car died last week and of course it threw a code onto the OBD bus and I was able to replace it before it went completely kaput and stranded me somewhere. A stark realization soon followed that we have no indication of a failing generator on the bike... so now I wanna get one.

If your voltmeter is lit and operating in the 1st vid, that would answer my question. I'm looking for just the right aesthetic; I prefer a digital meter but want something that blends with the bike. I wish Honda made a digital one.

I agree on the planning and execution of the bike... what a machine eh? :icon_biggrin:

How does the throttle lock work? I got one of the cheap ones, and have not been all that happy. I had an old spring/thumb one on my VTX so I habitually try to use my thumb, so I like the one you have on there. Does it work well?

It works perfectly.
It is a bit fussy to set up to work perfectly. There are some fine adjustments that must be made, but if you follow the instructions to the letter you will be fine.

I forgot a few items (Fenda Extenda, chrome bar ends, electronic flasher module, gas cap tether, J & M speakers), so I'll add an additional short video.

Good morning, sir,

I watched your video on the accessories you installed, and am preparing to mount my TIR3 shortly...and I am interested in syncing my brake lights to the flashing pattern of the TIR3 much as you did. My question is how to wire it, and what, if any, additional components may be required. It would be nice to simply use the TIR3 as the brake light controller, but I don't know if this is possible. I also have an LED wigwag unit, which may possibly work as a controller. I was initially going to install the TIR3 and the wigwag independently of one another, then I saw your video and got to thinking that it would be better to sync the brake lights and the TIR3 if possible. Thanks in advance. BTW, I tried to PM you but this service was not available when I clicked on your profile.

Can't keep track now, huh?

I saw this on youtube a couple months ago, I also have the Jet Black, and like the looks of the smoke chrome luggage rack (for function only), and like those rivco highway pegs.. and I want that Fenda Extena too. thanks for posting!

Did you stay with the OEM amp? Which J&Ms? How much better are your J&M over OEM Speaks?
